Curious people’s thoughts. I love the tables and atmosphere, I didn’t realize I was going to like the bubble variants as much as I do. I think the attraction for me was not having to hassle the dealers on a busy table to move bets and regress and whatnot.

While I have come ahead at bubble and had some fun with the other players at the table, that bell and that obnoxious "HIT THE BUTTON" I hate.
A good crew on a regular craps table will know your style in a few rolls and take care of you if they know you know the game.
Also the round dice cause them to roll over to much and as we all should know no matter what the dice are, the more they tumble, the more odds of 7, just a fact.

Was at Treasure Island on Thursday. They have what I will call “stadium seating” craps where the shooter rolls into a half table and places his bets at a screen next to the table. Everyone else sits in the stadium seats, each with a screen to place his bets like bubble craps. The rolls are projected on a large screen. The dealer invites the stadium players up to the front via screen in turn one at a time and you can pass if you’d rather not.

Was a good set up. You can bet don’t pass and no one knows. You can take down bets if you’re feeling like something bad will happen without asking the dealers.

This stadium seating seems to be the new way, craps, roulette, all the games. we'll see if it takes seems cool.

Oh see I kinda like them lol, idk why. But yea fair point, but seems like when it’s busy around here it can just be annoying, maybe I’ve had bad dealers idk.

Yea I saw the stadium seating craps at a new casino I stopped by recently, I didn’t get to play but was very cool. I’d like to try it for sure, just don’t have it at the two places within a half hour of me unfortunately. I see it being the best of both worlds in a way but I didn’t see any comrodery*(sp?) Like I do with a normal table which was disappointing. When the guy I saw first rolling hit the point he got excited all by himself lol.

yeah, you don't get the hooting and hollering like you do at a full craps table.

my buddy played longer than i did. he made friends with the guys sitting next to him who were also from california. so i think you can have some fun, but maybe a different flavor of it.

We have all of the craps game at our casino, including the stadium game (we call it Aruze). I would say this would be the popularity order.

Craps
Crapless
Aruze
Bubble craps
Bubble crapless

The appeal to play the bubble games is the low minimum bet. Our live dice games are usually $10-$15 minimums. For me, you can’t beat a live game with the dealer, chips, and other players. I prefer craps over crapless, but will play either live. Being in table games for over 25 years, I can’t do the bubble games.

I work at a casino in NW Indiana. Started out as a dealer in 1999 at Blue Chip Casino and moved up the ranks as well as moved on from Blue Chip. I am currently a pit manager.
