What's the origin of the Mint ceramic barrels? Where from, and about what year?

Cost of shipping both to MN?

They're ceramic, but with a mold and inlay/sticker, therefore they're hybrids right? Just trying to get this terminology right. These are close to (or the same as) the TINAs sold by Carothers?

I'm trying to put together a barrel of as many chip types as I can and these might add a new variety.
