Evening, I'm planning of making a custom project and considering purchasing some hot stamped chips with them. Are there anyone tried with them before? Will the glue on the label stick off the hot stamp?

Just get em milled. If you toss labels on unmilled hot stamps, you could get spinners and depending on the hot stamp, it can start peaking thru as the label settles.

I see. Guess I'll just try to find more not hot stamped chips now.
Milling is not particularly difficult. If you have a drill press or a bottom router then you just need the right bit and a simple jig.
I‘m not a ‚miller‘ but i guess it‘s not easy to hit the drill on the exact spot!
The recess is rarely in perfect center…
Which is why you use a jig....

Is it the computer controlled one? I do have one of those.
I'm all analog. It just takes a bit of practice.
