One thing I've learned about myself in chipping -- I HATE FLEA BITES!
This chip set represents exactly half of my current set, which I cherry picked from a larger set, to remove chips with flea bites. I'm not saying that there are zero flea bites -- but if you compare my set to most of the other sets out there...I'm betting you'd choose mine.
Also, the Tropicana 2nd edition $1s had a bubbled inlay problem...and to me, this was worse than flea bites...way worse! (again, for me...doesn't bother some people, but for me it was a deal breaker, and LOTS of the chips I bought had this problem). Anyway, I bought out all of the $1 chips that Spinetti's had, bought some from other forum members, and kept buying until I could find 4 racks of $1s that didn't have bubbled inlays. Success! And now, 2 of those racks are available here in this set.
The 2nd edition Tropicanas are absolutely casino used, rounded edges (mostly so on the $5s). But they're also quite a historic set. And it would be tough to find a set in better condition.
Buyer pays shipping and any paypal fees. Will ship international at buyer's expense and risk.
Oh, not included in the set, but as add ons -- I have a bunch of $10 Tropicana silver strikes. I was collecting them to use as bounty chips if I ever used these as tournament chips. You can add on these silver strikes at $20/coin. Let me know how many you want and which version you want, I think I have about 10 total.
Now, for some lazy photos. Don't forget to look for the cat hairs (LOTS of free cat hairs with this set -- must have had a feline visitor after oiling).
