I don’t have one. Probably going to have to grab a set off from @Apache if @justincarothers cant pull through. I had hoped that the set would be in the mail to me by now but nothing we can do if it is stuck in port. Hypothetically as long as it can be popped in the mail by early next week USPS should be able to get it to me by end of week but after the debacle I had with my Royals set being diverted to Texas for some reason, I don’t have 100% confidence in USPS.

What do you need exactly?

A hope and a prayer! Lol

It’s looking like I will end up with 9-12 players playing .25/.50 for about 3hrs of cash before a tourney. So a cash set to cover that. My cash set coming in on this order is frac heavy (200/200/200/75) for about $2800 in bank. I probably should have grabbed more $20s but oh well. Next set will be more end-heavy.

This — perhaps us BayArea folks can help out if you are in a jam and need a loaner
If it comes down to it that would be pretty sweet. I know I was told of two games that run in this area (within a mile or two of my place) but I don’t think either are chippers.

As always as soon as I get an update I will post it here. Should be any day
Oh, I know it's out of your hands until they're in your hands. It's just starting to feel like the first time a stranger shaved my neck with a straight razor. I knew that he knew what he was doing, but there were definitely thoughts of an accidental slip of the hand when he was shaving my neck.

So is Justin the Barber of Seville or Sweeney Todd?

Tina is going to check with logistics company in the morning so hopefully I will have an update soon

Thanks @justincarothers for organizing and managing all of this so professionally. We would not have the opportunity to get affordable, custom chips this easily without your expertise. Our angst as we wait for our chips is not a reflection on how we feel about your good work.

What do you think is realistic in terms of time to get chips to me in California? I'm wondering if I need to start looking for an alternate option.
UPS can take weeks to get these out of the port.

Here's a general piece of advice for anyone ordering cheap Chinese chips and blowing up Justin's threads repeatedly asking for updates - DO NOT EXPECT TO RECEIVE THEM IN A SPECIFIC TIMEFRAME AFTER ORDERING.

They get produced, put on a boat, and stuck on a dock, and nobody cares about how fast they can get you tracking or get it to your door. It is quite literally the slowest possible route to you that can exist, hence it is the cheapest. Imagine they are 2-3 months out after the order goes in, and then forget about.

If you need your chops by a specific date and time, then pony up for air freight. Otherwise, she goes how she goes - by the wind.

God forbid those of us new to this whole thing don't know that when we put an order in or don't want to drop thousands on a custom set. Also, some of us know it is out of his hands and just want to know timeframes as they approach. Generally, when you are given a window of time on a purchase's arrival, whether it's $30, $300 or $3000 asking for updates is not unexpected. If Justin wasn't so communicative with people who have spent hundreds with him, he probably wouldn't be so well liked around here.

I would have ordered somewhere else if I hadn't been told 60-70 days is the general turnaround. There was no evidence of a 90 day window.

We are ordering direct from factory ( I am not in this buy fyi but in septembers) which means we are on the supply chain side of things not the consumer side as far as the shipping is concerned.

I certainly appreciate Justin making these buys available at the convenience they are. I really hope it isn't the case that he gets such pressure on shipping we lose the option of monthly group buys out of frustration

When UPS picks them up it generally takes 3-4 days to get here.

We are currently at 66 days since ordering. Generally we get our orders in 60 days or less. There have been a few times when it has taken a little longer and this is gonna be one of them. I expect them to start moving soon.

We all knew this. Our update posts are mainly out of boredom and just friendly ribbing of Justin. Relax.
