Have accumulated a bunch of racks of solids in the past couple of years. And I figure it’s time I put them to good use.

Im not too fussed about matching condition, I just want to pick the perfect color for a frac.

Wish I could vote for multiple

Yeah I messed up. Should have allowed for 2 votes. I really struggle to pick one, but I think Indian Blue, Lilac, Mint Green make my top 3.

Indian Blue is just so nice but Mint provides a tad more contrast with the $1s.

Spot on.

Mint and it's not even close. WhatsApp me if you ever want to let go of the Indian Blues!

Do you have a pic of the faces of the chips? We were in Lake Elsinore a few months back and stayed right next door to the casino but after reading some poker room reviews I avoided going in. Would love to see what the chips look like side by side (I voted for mint green fwiw) without the fracs.

Several good options here. Maybe keep your favorite two for variety

I think you will love this thread. The old chips are amazing and were sold here on PCF last year

Oooof those colors are great. I just went through a 48 page post from last year about ‘knockoff’ and ‘tribute’ chips, but didn’t get a clear picture about how folks feel about designs that simply lift the color and edge spots of the chips? I really like the color schemes of these chips and wanted to do a California set for myself.

Looks like some of you might be right…Indian Blue and Lilac seem too close right?
My opinion - Indian blue is too close just because I’d prefer a wide variety of base colors - there are usually only 3-4 different chips in the table; let’s use the rainbow! But I can’t see how it could be a dirty stack problem unless you’re literally color blind.

Lilac is too close to what? The tiny spot on the $1? Are people really worried about dirty stacks with that? Seems preposterous to me.

for me, the color value of the lilac and base of the $1's is too close together, making it look muddy (imo). The only differentiation looks like a shift in hue, which could work if the shift was larger I think.

(being a color theory nerd here because I paint):

notice how the lilac kinda blends in with the $1. whereas the rest of the denoms (1-100) have good contrast in value to each other.

edit: also agree on indian blue, even though the value contrast is ok, I think the hues are a little too close together. Should still work imo. and fwiw I don't think any of the frac options will produce dirty stacks

also just by rack view lilac is my favorite anyways HAHA. some rules are meant to be broken
