Point Break or Road House? (2 Viewers)

This is a tough call. Point Break is a better movie. Just watched Roadhouse for the first time. Enjoyable, but not as good.

Road House is so campy, plus it reminds me of like a Japanese ronin turned revenge movie or something. Loved Sam Elliott as the old "master" ass-kicker. I've definitely watched it way more times than Point Break.

And that '65 Buick Rivera with the headlights...

Road House is so campy

Road House is like measurably bad. I rewatched it recently for the first time in a long time and I was taken aback by how bad it was. Without Swayze and Elliot it would be completely unwatchable. But they’re in it and that makes it awesome!

Roadhouse remake is set to be released soon with Jake Gyllenhaal taking on the role of Dalton.

I am in the minority picking Road House, yes Point Break is a better movie no question however Road House has the cheesy nostalgia that you expect from the time period. If I am describing or reminiscing then Road House would come to mind before Point Break for me.

IMO, Swayze's character in PB is MUCH more "believable" to me than his character in RH (he's NOT a fighter/martial artist, lol). That being said, if I've seen PB a half dozen times, I've watched RH 10x that.

end to end I prefer point break, but roadhouse has some scenes that are just better
