Vendor Sale Made-to-order Custom Table Toppers (53 Viewers)

I ordered mine with sewn edges and it's about 1/8" short on both ends but can't really notice unless you're really looking for it
nice thanks! after this past weekend with the "new" table....it was very apparent that jumbo cup holders are required, and after a spill...well now my table topper upgrade has also been fast forwarded ;)

I’m still waiting for some adventurous barrington owner to lift the rails by 1/8” by unscrewing them and adding a spacer. Then you could order a topper that’s an inch “too big” and tuck it underneath the rail.

It’s been said before but unfortunately it’s an imperfect process to ensure perfect fits each time. Barringtons are not all created equal, and custom made-to-order products will always have some degree of imperfection. Customizations of the table like what I mention above are likely the only way to ensure a perfect look, but I understand it would require some effort so I’m not surprised nobody has tried it out yet.
I'll be your huckleberry on my order that's coming soon. Do you have rounders toppers with other colors as well? im curious as to what a red or blue theme would look like. I'm partial to blue and i'd get your "courts" theme one for that alone, but the rounders is just too fun.

You may double check the width of the rail. I don't know how well those jumbo (3.6ish") fit. Haven't seen anyone with those, only the deeper holders

Aaron can you throw together a replacement for @Godzilla28 ’s table. This is what he currently has.

Herman, give me the actual dimensions so we can get this done. You can decide if you want a clone or something new altogether. Maybe a more modern color palette would be nice.
Could understand wanting a more modern look (or a darker background), but this table design is sweet, @Godzilla28. Feels very casino authentic, which is what I'm trying to recreate in most of my home poker endeavors :)

ill probably measure once and cut twice ;) ....but yeah that was a big concern. We have a lot of rocks glasses at our game...as im sure you probably have a ton of bourbon folks as well...so if I can make it happen, i'm going to give it a go.

I can do a Rounders top in whatever color you want to try. If you're more partial to blue I can mock that up. Just let me know.

sounds good, I'll let you know when I get closer to time. (out a bunch this month for work, so Ill come back to my table mod project soon)
for the spacer idea, are you thinking about just adding an extra inch around the edge to have something to tuck under a raised rail?

In response to a few comments above- Let’s be clear- this is a game mat leveraged for poker. Both have different needs.

Is it perfect for poker when placed on top an existing table? Seems like it, based on the comments.

Is it perfect when used alone on top a dining room table? Nope. But, I’m so glad I bought one.

It’s customizable- dimensions and design. It’s well crafted and has a non-skid back. Cards slide and hold well. It’s a great value. If they sold one with a bit more cushion, it would be paradise. But I knew the limits going into it and grabbed one anyway.

I finally put mine to use this weekend. I played on a hardwood table with my existing neoprene topper (a few mm) underneath (ghetto-taped to the table so it wouldn’t slide).

Mat did its job perfectly.

My only issue with the mat is the colors came out a bit darker than I expected, not as bright. Not by much. The other designs look amazing- so I’m not sure if it’s my screens or the mat- as I’m going by expectations from an online color pallet.

My only issue playing was the neoprene topper underneath. I need to find a better solution, and am curious about the double layer concept or maybe finding some other smooth flat slightly springy non-slide mat to go under.

But absolutely zero regrets buying the mat. Would I do it again? In a heartbeat.

Yes -- that's the idea.

too easy...ill be in touch
I think the only issue you might run into is that by raising the rail on a Barrington/espn table it might leave a perceivable gap on the outer edge of the table, bc I don't think the rail material goes underneath the table on the outside. From what I remember there is a black, painted, wood material that meets up with the rail vinyl. As a result, if you care about that aesthetic, you might need to loosen the rail material and have that tuck underneath whatever spacer you put in.

I was thinking of adding a thin trim piece around the outer edge to cover that....or use it to my advantage and wrap led strip around the outer edge...lots of ideas floating around right meow

I like that idea. Let us know what you come up with as I want to do something like this if i ever get time.

Great idea. Excited to see how you solve this.

@TheLemursReturn did an awesome job brining my idea to life. I know there’s been some interest in a Star Wars topper. I’m hoping to get this done for a “May the 4th Be With You” tourney, to go with my Imperial Rounders chips.

This is pretty much a final version in my eyes, but feedback and cool suggestions are welcome!

I need more Star Wars in my life! This is awesome!

Anyone try a topper on something like these tables. The cup holders are on the surface and look almost flush (but probably a slight lip). I think that’s less than ideal, but a topper would cover them. However, do you think there would be any issue with a topper on one of these?

You could get some foam and cut it to the right size, put that down first, and then put a topper over the foam and you wouldn't see the cup holders at all. It would look and perform perfectly.
