After too much thinking and playing with samples, I decided that I can't decide between the DG Green and Retro Lavender so like any good chippy I've decided to use them both.
The DG Green for the T25 and the Retro Lavender for the T25000. I guess this means ordering more chips so I can run a T20000 or T25000 tournament instead of the usual T10000 (y)(y)

Any thoughts?

An excellent choice!

I love your line up. Great spread of colors and nice contrast from one chip to the next.

While waiting to get to the top of the design queue, I got to thinking about whether or not a solid set was too "boring" and perhaps I should add some spots keeping the same base colors we/I chose above in post #32

I had two thoughts as evidenced in the pics below... a spot the closely matches the base color and a spot the offers some contrast.

The "matching" spot tends to keep the chip somewhat "solid" and the contrasting spots not so much.

First decision --- spots or solids
Second decision -- if spots, matching or contrasting

Feel free to suggest different spot colors....the base colors are pretty much set in wet concrete)

YEEEEEEEESSSS!! After looking at these mockups definitely go with the spots! I really like them both, including most of the contrasted ones, but I tend to lean towards the monochromatic look. The matched spot set reminds me of the BCC Grand Cardroom chips. Only thing I might tweak is the DG peach and pink spots in that lineup... just don't appear to offer substantial contrast on the screen, though it may be different in person. Also keep in mind the new CPC white is brighter than the ASM version... maybe try light gray there?

Set number two for me. However I would put the blue/peacock chip from set one in there, and sub blurple for white on the tiger chip. I think this set is def better with spots

In for a sample if this stays on the H mold

I like this one but it might tilt me if a yellow chip were the 500.

Maybe swap the bright white and yellow chips and consider these changes:

Gray spot on bright white.
Butterscotch on canary.
Arc yellow on tiger.
Change last chip to dg pink with retro red.

I like spots, and prefer colors that contrast in terms of shade but match (or come close to) on the color wheel.

What about matching spots but dark base and lighter spot colors?

...like you have on the blue and pink chips. The rest are lighter bases with darker spots.

Yeah I think the bottom 5k chip fits better with the rest of the set. Kind of close to the 1k, but should still be discernible in splashed pots and stacks.

I think they will look ok.... If @Chippy McChiperson ever gets the Haus of Bluff finished:rolleyes::whistle: :whistling:;), maybe I can get the color samples back to compare just to be sure

So Dale got me thinking,,,, how about this with the new blue chip.. perhaps more in keeping with the rest of the lighter/dg bases?

These are great, but I would be ever so slightly tilted that the yellow chip is the only weighted chip in the bunch. Perhaps changing Canary to DG yellow or Saturn would appease my OCD.
