Things That Are Bullsh*t (22 Viewers)

What’s a ghost hand and why would you voluntarily play with one?
A ghost hand is exactly that - cards dealt to an empty spot and you have to beat the ghost to win the pot.

If the ghost wins - the pot rolls over to the next hand.

I don't enjoy it, but Degens gonna Degen.

You just don’t understand how to play. Flopping quads on 1 board and having not even a draw on either of the other two is like having 2 pair at holdem. Yeah it’s good, but it’s not an immortal lock hand.
If I flop quads in any game and lose, the dealer is definitely gonna hear about it!

But then how will I carry my obsolete paper money to the cash-only home game?

How do you carry your drivers license, CCP, Sam’s card, Costco card, insurance card, naked pics of your wife (not your wife’s pics in my wallet…my wife in my wallet), motorcycle registration, atm card, and cash? All that stuff can go in your phone?

“Ironically”

Please don’t use this word if you don’t know what it means. Does my f***ing head in

The number of people who say “ironically” when they mean “coincidentally” or (as in the case of Alannis Morissette’s song) “unlucky” is staggering.

Visual example of “irony” below…

And yes, I woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning  :ROFLMAO:

The Alanis Morissette song "Ironic" doesn't contain a single instance of irony. Everything she lists is just coincidence or bad luck.

Ironically, this is exactly what makes the song ironic.

That song must be over 20 years old and I still argue with the car radio whenever it comes on.

“Isn’t it ironic?”

“Nope”

“A little too ironic”

“I already f***ing told you”

“It’s like rain on your wedding day”

“Is it f*** ya daft c***. That’s just bad luck”

“A death row pardon a minute too late”

“You’d be dead. You wouldn’t f***ing know”

This is usually accompanied by me raining punches down on the dashboard. People in the next car thinking that I’m on some crazy bad phone call.

Anyway I’m sure that bothers Alannis when she’s rolling about her castle draped in million dollar bills  :ROFLMAO:

Personally, I wouldn’t let a song force me to beat the ever loving shit out of my car *

The only Alanis song I enjoy is Spoon by Dave Matthews.

The college I went is BS. Biggest mistake of my life. Should’ve stayed close to my home than going to Raci*tville college.

I still have PTSD from it. Just woke up from nap saw the nightmares and too depressed I can’t clean chips today.

Too bad I can’t even do what’s fun, cleaning chips is fun for me. Spent the holidays that way and I liked it.

P.S. don’t ask me where I went for college. I’m trying to forget that time period of depression and hopelessness.

I hope you don't at all take this the wrong way, but have you considered talking to someone? I'm sincerely sorry that you went through that, PTSD is not a joke.

I did and I’m getting treated since I was in college. But hey the most fun part of my life is done so that’s helpless. I’ve got 50 more years to work then retire then nursery home, then die.

I’m feeling like where and how can I have fun on what I missed in college?

Dude, no way. My time that I was single in my 20's after school was the best time of my life. The best is yet to come!

Almost 30! Album came out in 1995 - I was in grade 8 - I suddenly feel old.

Anyway I’m sure that bothers Alannis when she’s rolling about her castle draped in million dollar bills  :ROFLMAO:

Yeah, but those are Canadian million dollar bills, so it’s probably just one of those inflatable bouncy castles.

It’s different here.

Checking on people who have been in a car crash - is every c*** alright?

Meeting your friends on the pub - alright c***s

A guy you trust - he’s a stand up c***

A guy you think is a bit dodgy - he’s a bit of a c***

A guy you definitely don’t trust - he’s a complete c***

This place is busy - wall to wall c***s

This place is quiet - Nae c*** here

It’s our version of how the Smurfs use the word smurf.
So it's safe to say the Aussies stole it from you guys.

College as "an experience" is highly over-rated. There's this mystique that it shapes and forms who we become, but in reality we are still very moldable pieces of putty well after we depart.

Personally, college was miserable for me. I mucked through it but between learning very differently than most and never feeling the general vibe of a social event that I didn't care to participate in, I have no strong positive feelings about my time there.

Fast forward to my late 20s and early 30s and that's when things and life started to get fun and interesting.

Don't feel you "missed out" on things in college. We are led to believe those were the best times, but ask most functioning adults and they will probably say the best times do happen later on.

This time of year, the days are short, the nights are long, the weather is geenrall crummy and we all have just rode through weeks of the holidays. It's usually a tough mental time anyways. Do you best to keep your chin up.

You......wanted to have peaked in college?

Some kids work 3 jobs through college, some people do college as adults, etc. Do you simply mean, how do I try and replicate what I've seen on tv and in movies about college? Everyone's experience is different. You didn't miss college, you just had a shitty college experience.

You're also asking an online forum who on average probably attended college before you were born.

But just in case you want a real answer, you're spending thousands on poker chips. I'm not sure what the college experience is, but seems like you can probably afford hookers and blow. Or go play frolf on the weekend. I mean it's not what I would choose to do at my current age, but if you want to come up to northern cali and we can play beer pong with Southern Comfort in the garage because it's all we can find and then we'll all get sick and puke and rally and then pool all our money together for a taco bell run and then try and pick up girls with no chance of it actually happening?

College saved my life, made into who I am today. I pledged a fraternity, made lifelong friends, and changed my whole life. I’m thankful forever for my experience

Me too…I am especially grateful for my roommate Billy. He caught the clap on three separate occasions. Now I’m very diligent about not letting my dong touch a public toilet seat…something I would have never thought of before. What a blessing.

Daddy ball....daddy ball....daddy ball. I'm sick of it. My town is notorious for it when it comes to kid's sports, especially my kid's age bracket.

I've seen favoritism on the field and hardwood that makes my stomach turn.
