So it Begins... (3 Viewers)

Crying about not being able to rip off a set while saying how easy it is to make one. Special.
No doubt. I've been trying to put together a CPC set for the past two months straight and, over 60 iterations later, I feel like I'm worse off now than when I started. And that's just the chips, nevermind the inlay design.

Nothing but respect for people like @JeepologyOffroad who, time and time again, work magic with their design work. I sure as hell don't have the talent for it.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: anytime @JeepologyOffroad is involved creating a set, it be like...

I won’t reveal too much, but before rumors swirl further, GPI raised their prices EXPONENTIALLY. On top of that you should see the ABSURD fees they charge for absolutely no reason.
Seriously? You don't think GPI knows exactly what is going on? Who else insists on TH&C vs RHC, doesn't put a location on the inlay, and asks for all kinds of bright colors & unusual spots?

"absolutely no reason" LMFAO

Correct. No secret sketchy pricing. Will be a public vendor sale by Ken. I won’t reveal too much, but before rumors swirl further, GPI raised their prices EXPONENTIALLY. On top of that you should see the ABSURD fees they charge for absolutely no reason. On top of that - Ken somehow convinced GPI (and we paid premium to boot) for them to let us give bearclaws, 3tas, and 4ta one final spin. They were already retired, but this was their final rodeo…
Fantastic job on the design. People with these negotiation skills always fascinate me and are such a great asset to have on your side.

For real though. I think the first couple NAGB may have actually been some clandestine operation, but at this point there is no way GPI hasn’t seen these threads. Maybe they’ve realized that chips ending up here is inevitable and they’ve embraced what PCF considers some secret backdoor ordering process in order to sell large lots of marked-up Paulsons while simultaneously being able to tell their casino clients they are upholding security. Because I don’t think any casino’s orders look like these group buys lol.

@JeepologyOffroad Maybe this is to come later, but what's the story/inspiration behind the inlay design?

I found myself googling this after another Year of the Tiger post earlier in the thread. Interesting if its related to Chinese culture
