New chip alert. I have never seen these before. They were in play along with the two other versions of 1s.

This auction is for one rack. Great condition. Winner has option for 2nd rack.

When I was there beginning of October in the poker room, I asked the dealer why they had Ike $1 coins in their racks, they said they were low on $1s and were using them for rakes. I said he could sell them on eBay for $1.50 each, he did not want to sell me any. I suppose these bland hotstamps were easy to order quickly, not even house mold.
 
@casinochipper22 or anyone else that knows for sure:
Are these horizon blue? Same blue as Caesars previous $1's & Bellagio?. My guess is yes, but before I decide I would really like to know for sure

Chips will get harder to find. Not just in Las Vegas. Phase out plans are already on the books. Not entirely. Not tomorrow. But unless you’re a high limit player chips will be rare. MGM has a similar outlook. The next gen could care less about chips.

It's a white balance issue with the picture. When I balance it against the white of the little bit of the Warneke box that's showing, it looks much more like the other two pics:

It doesn’t shock me. We already have a generation of people on here who are happy to run their home games without cash - just PayPal or Venmo each other at the end of the night or the end of the month, or whatever.
Crazy kids.
Waking up the next morning to see that big bulge of cash in last nights pants pocket is one of the best parts of poker.

Have ya noticed that there's 20 roulette machines and 5 bubble craps machines rows of electronic BlackJack... lately? I played bubble craps at mandalay last week 2 machines FULL and three empty craps tables.... bummer it was! Bright side I cashed in 200 and out 1750. !!

I watched a sales team demo a new electronic poker table to CP..... When asked about the tacticity of poker chips the sales guys explained the younger generation doesn't care and the biggest advantage was that there was complete accountability of NO CASH (chips). Was very interesting indeed. Didnt mean to derail your sales ad GLWS.

How are we going to play poker without chips?

Oh yea, the internet. That's right, I guess if there are no chips there really is no reason to go to the cardroom/casino.

I know, I know....
I'm messing a bit, but for me the only 2 games I care about at all are craps and poker and neither one of those two games are going to run the same without chips. I do understand that it can be done, but it won't be with me involved.
