Great looking set. Did ya oil after putting on the Labels?
Indeed.

I water rinsed, hand wiped a day before labels. Let them completely dry.

Then labeled them up, let them cure for a day.

And hand oiled them, literally one by one. Because I love them. I whispered to them, softly, as I caressed their every curve, letting each one know how special they are…. And that when I cast them into the pot, they must not be scared, for they will return to me with friends and money.

Oww that recess is really deep. Probably will get more precise with practice.

Consistent (appropriately shallow) recess depth is probably the only real advantage of using the bottom router method.
Some of us go deeper than others…. :ROFLMAO:

The recess was actually perfect for the “special label” I was able to use. That new new good good from the hood kidd!!! :cool

If you had made those blacks $5s, you'd be besieged with offers by now.

And if the nickels were hundos, you'd be fixin' to retire early! :cool

Haha thx, I’ll probably never let this bundle go, I plan on adding to it as I find CSQs in the classifieds. The colors gotta make me smile just right though, denom’s will be special too.

As for retire early, I’ve checked that box - Now I just play poker and cut my grass  :ROFLMAO:

Very nice job. With the labels, isn't it still a bit too deep?

I'm surprised how much I like the solid whites! Are those white or bright white?

I’m honestly not sure, I bought them from @GenghisKhan so he might know.

I’ll tell you this, the blues are shorter, and the orange are not happy in the mill. I love them all the same though, my own personal little set is extra cool to me.

should be pretty easy to tell, honestly. if they look a bit grainy/gritty, they are white. if they are mostly pure white, they are bright white.

based on your pics in this thread, i would guess they are probably white.
