Bosco Label CSQ set (1 Viewer)

Wanted to share this little label journey with y’all.

I bought some CSQ solids from @GenghisKhan to mill up. For what, I didn’t know, but I knew they would be a fun project.

So, after milling and playing with label options, I decided to go with the simple/clean Bosco ACES label. I found @dickthebaker on here and wanted to give him a try.

So, without further yappin, here’s my labeling project thread.

Haha, I had my shop vac propped to the side to keep it kinda clean, but as Ive made plenty of messes in the shop before, I usually decide to just go wild, and then clean up after.

Same as the sex approach

Nice mill setup. Those recesses look a bit deep, are you using a thick laminate label?

Yeah it’s my first time, might have gone a tad deep, but it’ll buff out. Textured labels going in though.

I literally read a few threads on here, ordered the bit from @Eloe2000 ‘s thread, and went to town. My biggest concern was accuracy with 1” cut, on a CSQ. Off center milling tilts me to death more than depth.

Oww that recess is really deep. Probably will get more precise with practice.

Consistent (appropriately shallow) recess depth is probably the only real advantage of using the bottom router method.

I've been trying to come up with custom names for years. I am a procrastinator. You sir, waste no time.

Good job on the milling and labels.

are they there yet, are they there yet? it could have been there 5 minutes ago. You may want to try placing them with your fingers before the tools, it will go much faster if you have steady enough hands. In my experience at least. also don't use that spudger to push down hard on the label, it just needs a little bit of pressure
