For all you boomers out there, AFK means Away From Keyboard. AKA the computer is on and nobody's there. I 100% of the time have multiple PCF tabs open in the background on my desktop, phone and ipad, so it may show I'm online 24/7 even when I'm off living my life and not responding within seconds to messages. Let's all take a deep breath and calm tf down.

Not going to read this whole thread but just chiming in to say I often check PCF but I will put off responding to PMs if I am on mobile or at work. Then I get home and life kicks in and I might not respond that night or even the next day. Obviously it depends on the nature of the message and implied urgency. For an in-flight transaction I would try to respond that evening at the latest.

Some have suggested this thread should be deleted. I strongly disagree. I think this thread should be required reading for every PCF member. There's a lesson to be learned here. Maybe several. For sure that simply NOT hearing from someone, no matter how many messages you sent them, means absolutely nothing! Especially when it's over this short of a period of time. Life happens. Stuff happens. What may seem like life or death to you may be the 100th thing on the other person's priority list. @Pippa was told numerous times from the very first reply in this thread to this to take a chill pill and give @chicubs1988 time to respond. But he refused and continued to pour on the heat. There was absolutely nothing so critically important about this that he was owed an IMMEDIATE reply.

In my opinion, Pippa should be reprimanded in some way over this. He took this situation way, WAY too far, and way too soon. I've had issues with him before and this thread just cements my decision to put him on my "do not deal with" list. Sorry bud. Not worth the drama.

This was new info to me as well. Good to know! I sometimes check peoples’ status when I really want an answer to a pm. I don’t start threads about it though @Pippa but I am secretly annoyed when someone’s been online without sending a pm back
