Retro Red VS Mandarin Red (1 Viewer)

This chip is retro red and mandarin red on a quarter pie. I think they are really close. The slightly lighter/more orange shade is mandarin. The darker is retro.

Okay, okay, I can see it now.

Thanks for all the above! I didn't realize MR had an orange tint. I'm leaning towards red or retro red now for my someday CPC set... haha

This is super helpful thanks… still tough to decide regardless though
Did you mention what you were considering? The answer might depend on how it fits with the rest of the chip and the set.

I’m considering a limit set. Most likely going to pick two of these chips. I’m leaning towards the yellow as my workhorse and trying to figure out which to pick as my value chip. That being said, it might end up being a cards mold set so need to figure out how those colors work.

For the second chip, my initial reaction is to go either all retro or no retro. I think mixing might look off.

Don't rely on pics of other chips or even pics of a color sample. Buy your own cpc color sample (or borrow one). Especially if you're considering something like a quarter pie design, you need to get the colors in hand to get a feel for how they work together. Its a small investment to ensure your bigger purchase will look like you want it to look.
