It’s not without its issues, but then again up here there isn’t a gofundme setup every time someone needs healthcare.

In the few times my family has needed it, the healthcare system has had our back and then some. When they had to move mountains, they did.

I wouldn’t trade it for anything really, but I’ll admit I’m biased to what I know. I’d love to see some things borrowed from other countries though. Pre/post natal care in Scandinavian countries seems to be incredible, universal pharmacare is getting to be on the table.

No debate intended. I worded my questions as apolitical as possible for this very reason.

Hmm. I think it’s very tempting for people to try and get as much detail/elements as possible onto an inlay. Oftentimes less is more.

I was out of the hobby from around 2011ish or so until 2017. Kept playing poker in the meantime but wasn’t on CT.

That and selling my set of St. Jo Frontier chips to a buddy for a song when I bought my set of BCC cdi’s. Haha.

ASM/CPC customs had been something I’ve wanted since you could only get the 312 spot pattern, but always had other priorities for the cash and it felt like such a luxury. When they finally got delivered summer of 2020 it was a dream come true.

My wife’s aunt makes “wiener wraps” which are bit sized chunks of hot dog wrapped in dough and baked. Served with a honey mustard sauce. So definitely 100 poker chip sized hot dogs.

So like… I’m terms of an outlook on life I’m very much a pragmatist/stoic. Live and let live. Basically as long as someone isn’t hurting me or others I’m willing to support them in whatever it is that they like to do.

On the stoicism side it’s maybe not a true stoic outlook but I believe there is really very little that we need to be truly worrying about. Easier said than done of course.

Is that even philosophy, or am I just making shut up now?
