Being a lifelong Detroit Lions fan I have a hard time finding empathy for your situation. I haven't lived in Detroit for over 12 years and I still watch every game with hope.

Hehe, well I'm really a Sabres hockey fan. Empathy now lol ? Detroit has it tough in professional sports in general right now. The football team has always been pretty bad, we've had one good decade that resulted in nothing but jokes.

Yup, I've seen the 30 for 30, it's excellent. I did know Detroit has never been to a bowl. In fact, I can't think of a time ever that they were remotely interesting other than when they had Sanders. Just a badly run organization, much like the Sabres and Bills up until recently.
