For those that purchased the Majestic cash chips (specifically $1 and $5) what do you plan to do with them considering the quality most are in? I was close to buying some but the pictures posted earlier are making me reconsider. I can handle dirt and grime but the rounded edges are what worry me most. Do you plan to use them or is this just to add to the collection?

If you are looking for a first set of "real" poker chips to play with, you can't beat the price of these.

The extra cost will be the scrubbing that you have to give them, but these would beat a game with dice chips any day.
The ultrasonic cleaners work wonders, but so does warm water, Dawn and a couple old toothbrushes and toothpicks.

The rounded edges = tons of play.
Consider them well broken in and your buddies can splash the pot & throw them at you for sucking out on the river - and you won't care!

lots of people who bought the majestic star cash set don't want the low denoms, have an ultrasonic , know how to use it and figure "meh, im already doing all the others, might as well throw the others in too". they'll be surfacing soon. i suspect you'll also see some vendors buying up large stock of these, cleaning them with their ultrasonic and putting them for sale at a premium.

cleaning large numbers of chips by hand really sucks.

I was thinking of getting the Majestics, but i just went with a 400 set of the Jacks even though i could have gotten about 650 majestics for the same price. I wish i could have gotten more of the higher denoms, but i did wrangle in 10 $500 just for posterity. I probably didnt get enough overall, but i'm hoping i can get about 200 more to grow the set. If this is your 1st set. Jacks are a much better choice despite being about 20c on average more per chip.

Their condition are much better and relatively clean compare to Majestic Star

This was the decision I ultimately came to, I'd rather spend more for a nice product than regret being cheap later.

i couldn’t stand it anymore. I ordered a small cash set of 1, 5, 25….. such a good price. I might not like the condition but MORE CHIPS COMING IN THE MAIL!!! Always a good thing. Lol

Considering I had completely written off real casino chips as being too expensive and ended up buying some for $0.30 each I really don’t care! Haha.

Learn about Gematria Sports are 100% scripted I watched sports for 26yrs of my life almost everyday for 20yrs I haven't watched 1 sec of that BS in the last year and a half after I found out about this was a die hard U of M fan my whole life born into it

after you do so many with you're hands they start to hurt my wrists are killing me from cleaning my Clevelands & my Jacks

I bought a low limit set as fast as Icould click (maybe 30 second) then tried to order the t10000 set and later a breakdown of cash chips 600/600/400/400/200/60/40 but was not able to order the t10000 or 5k chips at that time....the rest was available but I left the chips for others as I wanted all or nothing. would still have probably been a good medium term investment but there is more I can buy to hustle....already have more than enough playable sets.

agreed with the $25-500's having the golden flakes etc...they could make for a nice interesting set. They look like a bit of work for clean up and sorting which is why I planned to order so many but instead topped up my HSI's.

I am guessing that there may be a number of casino's going out of business/clearing chips currently or the near future with the new hypochondria craze these days making them less desirable on the casino floors.

Amazing price for sure. Suggestion though, it’s always good to buy extras in case any of them get lost/broken/etc. Nothing worse than having a 99 chip rack of something. I always aim for 10-15 extra of each denomination. At this price it’s very worth it.
