Most likely no. Any VPN can get around that, and if it is internet provider uses dynamic IP addresses, then they're bound to change. Also, his phone will have a different IP address depending on where it is... All of this adds up to one thing: he can create as many accounts as he needs to. Our only protection against it is to be vigilant.

I think I said this in one of the other threads, but what really gets me is that he seemed to make things right with @Eriks ... He even contributed to lots of threads on here, seeming like an all-around nice guy. Only to come right back and screw us.

If he meant to play us as one big mark, then he is a very shrewd con artist. He did the exact right thing by creating concern, and then immediately extinguishing that concern by appearing to make good. It's an interesting tactic that actually might lend itself to people trusting him more.

If he didn't mean to do it, then I feel sorry for him (but not sorry though to forgive or excuse).
I think it’s called the “long con”

Are there many dutch members on the forum?

We can know it?

Maybe refuse new dutch members for a moment? .... i know it's not very cool but what's the dutch membership ratio every year on PCF?

What is astonishing is that he came off as a swell dude in our PMs, but that was to pull the wool over my eyes I guess.

Gotta watch out for those Dutch flags... :ninja:

He was so lucky that your wife happen to send the package together.

I understand the scam is easier from buyer side as we need to send fund first before the scammer need to fake send stuff

And just as I feared with USPS, I am shit out of luck. They only offer refunds if the package went missing, the recipient didn’t receive it or if the items were broken/missing.

There is not nor has there been a gambling debt. This guy is a con. Probably on other forums engaged in similar conduct.

Appreciate the heads up @Tommy. I've never even had anything close to a negative encounter with anybody on this forum whether buying or selling something. Love you guys :)

Sounds like those two were made for each other. He's the one ripping people off and somehow he's the victim getting backstabbed. Again, you can't trust anything a dishonest person says or supposedly feels.
