Here we go again. I wish i could have harvested more when I was there last month.

I know this may be a long shot but you never know seeing some go on sale recently and waking up 10 minutes after it posted. I was able to get some but am in need of more!

If you don't ask, plead or beg you never know what is out there! I am trying to complete a rack of Flamingo $1 spotted with birds. I am looking for 1-50 chips. I am trying to finish a set and complete the rack.
I may try and get some spotted w/o birds later but at this time if you have spotted with birds I am asking for your help.

David, I'll make you a deal. If you can somehow locate 80 Terrible's Mark Twain secondary 1s for me, I'll take the 200 no bird spotted chips (that are your back up chips) I recently bought and sell you the spotted birds. I'm not as picky about the birds in the inlay and am doing anything I can to find the very last 80 Terrible's I need.

I totally know how you feel. I will try and see what I can do something tells me though if you have not been able to find them no one can. Did you make sure they are not in that cache for the summer sale[emoji3][emoji106]

I wish there were some more in the couch cushions but I'm damn sure I need 80 more. There is a member that hasn't been on the site since Sept. that almost agreed to a sale last summer then disappeared. maybe he'll surface again.

Thank you. Probably pretty scarce but if you have time, ask the cage sometimes they find some. I remember last month my wife picked some up by asking the employees in the poker room. Very nice folks there.

When I stayed there in November there were a few spotted ones here and there at the tables, I just don't remember if they had the bird or not on them.

I asked every dealer (craps, poker, blackjack, pai gow) if I could buy the spotted $1s in their stacks/trays when I was there last month. I bought maybe 40ish of them and none of them had bird inlay. Sigh.

I intended, but never made it over, to the Flamingo on my recent trip. Sounds like it would have been somewhat slim harvesting picking anyway :(

My quest is coming closer to an end! Due to a couple of gracious forum members I am pretty close to changing the "Wanted" to a "Found" in the title of this thread.

Here is what I am looking for now. I am down to needing the last 23 spotted with birds. If someone has some orphans and you are tired of seeing an incomplete rack please let me know and I will gladly adopt them.

Now if you are in need of any spotted without birds I can trade you those or I will pay cash for the last 23 spotted with birds.

If you trade thats great if there is no trade involved then I will probably extend my quest for 53 spotted with no birds to complete a rack of those.

I was able to pick up 70 spotted chips with 21 of them having birds for David last week. I went very early in the morning. The poker room had 2000 chips the girl went through for me to find every spotted chip. The main cage spent s while in the back and found some more. They didn't mind at all since it was so slow at that time. And they were very happy to get tips for looking.

Yes, one of the gracious forum members was @Rhodeman77 and the other (I am sure you already know) was @courage. I really think this forum is great! First @courage offering up his orphans which I believe helped with his OCD and then @Rhodeman77 who volunteered to try and get me some during his trip to Vegas. He didn't just try I think he went out of his way to help and was able to get 21 bird and 49 no bird spotted chips. I owe you one @Rhodeman77 and @courage.

They arrived today and I cleaned them all up. They are drying now and will oil them later although they look great even without the oil. Anyway the quest is almost done thanks to the to aforementioned forum members.

Karma is great and I even think @Rhodeman77 had some good Karma returned during his trip! After seeing his picture from the Mirage, I think he did pretty well. Anyway I am ready to return the favors!!!

After this week I think I am down to needing 18 more for a rack. Check under the cushions of your couch. So close but yet so far. It's been a few weeks so I thought I would give it a bump.

I know we just pm'd but I was just looking in my display case and I actually have a spotted Flamingo chip (no bird). It was the only chip I kept from my last Vegas trip (I pretty much only played at the Flamingo hence only keeping that one as a memento) but if it will help you get closer or you find you are one short after getting closer to your goal to fill the rack I don't mind letting it go. No charge just cover the shipping.

As much I would love it I would hate to take your memento. I am getting close and I will hold that as a "Break Glass in Case of Emergency" Chip. Also once I get the rack full I may be able to help you out with some spotted non birds for your set

David, the 400 chips arrived in AZ safely and include 202 spotted birds and 198 spotted no birds. Come to Denver in August so we can trade a couple. ;)

Still in search but getting oh so close! Down to needing 18 spotted birds.

Also I would take any spotted non birds that may exist out there to complete a different rack. need 52 of those.

these would hold me over until @slisk250 gets back in town!!!

A Little bump for the last 11.

Doubt there are anymore out there that anyone is willing to part with but it is always worth a try!
