It’s been awhile since I’ve received a delivery so, I figure I need to buy something (does that ever happen to you……..ever feel a need for a tracking number to watch?).

Anyhow, thought I’d reach out to the pros (aka PCF’ers) to seek guidance. I’ve recently revamped my poker room, but one can always do more, right? Here’s some pics of where I’m at presently, would love some thoughts on what I can add, what would make it better, etc etc.
I’ve posted about some of this stuff in earlier threads, but this is more of an all-encompassing view of the “Second Friday Poker” room:
-Seville Classics tool cabinet for chip/card storage and table for food
-Hot dog roller (duh)
-50+ inch tv
-Obligatory photo of moi playing poker (‘96 WSOP event)
-Custom ASM’s (when I bought them) cash and tourney chips
-HSI sec cash set
-Variety of card setups (KEM, Modiano, Desjgn, Faded Spade)
-Custom felt (T Chan)
-Gasser chairs (great pickup that a saw here……$15/ea)
-Bar
-Bourbon art and uncut Desjgn card sheets ar
-Miller High Life sign (it is the Champagne of Beers after all)
-Custom DB (Second Friday Poker)

So, PCF community: what do I get next??

CPC custom chips, then matching dealer buttons and cut cards
Well, I did just get an add-on order for my custom cash chips:).
Plus I have an order in with CPC for another set (Riverside Poker) but those are a gift for a family member.

Keep the ideas coming!

roulette wheel or slot machine. Degens gonna degen.

In my room I also have a mini super nintendo for tourneys when people bust out but we haven't started a cash game yet.
Ohhh, slot machine, great idea! I'll hit the interwebs for that.............(unless you have one or "know a guy":)

I can honestly say I have never played a home game in a nicer setup…my own or others. Well done!

That being said, you asked for suggestions. I’ve played at many with a multi-pot-crockpot setup…can use for anything from hot roast beef to pork to cheese for nachos. Maybe incorporating that?

We do use a crockpot for hotdog Chili. And sometimes I also seat up some sliced smoked sausage and put it in a crockpot with bbq sauce. However that section could certain be expanded:)
And thanks for the kind words.

please, he has a hotdog roller, he's at least "comfortable."
Right?
I did branch out and order some all beef dogs with natural casings for the last game. Feltners was the brand (NY based). Got to say, much prefer the Hebrew National we normally use. The Feltners had a bit of a funky flavor to me.

What do you get? You get an invite out to have people over. Pronto.

Oh yeah. We play $1/$1 $200 buy-in cash game on the second Friday of each month. Game has been going for a long time, maybe 7-8 years, but at a couple different places. I've just upgraded the room here lately to what I have now. That should be today but this month I had to move it to next week. I am also trying to add a tourney monthly also. I've hosted a couple here and there, but would like to have an on-going tourney in the alternate weeks - once a month - when the cash game isn't on. Interest in my current group is mixed on tourneys, some will play but want rebuys/add-ons; others are OK with whatever and some don't play tourneys at all. I'm still working through a format that works for most, but my personal preference is a freezeout format with higher buy-in versus rebuys/add-on and a lower buy-in.

As far as what did I get.......nothing yet. I really want a old/used beer cooler. Like one from a restaurant supply store of something, glass front, etc. I just have a large cooler with ice now and people bring their own coolers also. Only thing is from what I've seen these things are expensive (like $1k+). I also have some wall space that is empty, so would consider some type of poker art.
I just wanted to throw it out to the community here for things I am not even thinking of. (like a slot machine.......:)

Another option is a fun game of chance. I bought an Eye of the Pyramid from my cousin at http://www.clawfun.com/. They’re one-off amusements that will certainly entertain.
ok I looked this up and watched the video. That’s Hilarious!! I couldn’t really see how to get more info or how to order one. Sent them a Facebook message to ask though. Thanks!!

Uhhh...where's the beer fridge and the kegerator?
Yes the beer fridge is definitely missing. I need one along the lines of what I was saying above. Just using coolers now:)
As far as the kegerator, I’ve got enough bourbon drinkers that I think a nice glass front beer fridge would suffice. I didn’t take a pic of the bar setup. I’ll add that when I get a chance:)

The Eyes are sold out. But he comes up with some cool stuff. There are certainly others who do the same. Just something fun and interesting.

@warma i am FB messaging with your cousin I think. He wanted to know where I heard about them……..so gave you a shout out. He says he may be making another batch later this year…so I could get lucky and get one:)
Make sure you get your commission if that happens!

Sweet! It’s totally addictive. The best one is when it stops right before the winner and totally teases you.
