More curious than anything else, will remove this post if asked and free bump!

When it comes to harvesting chips that cost a casino at or more to make than the chips value they would be annoyed if you were harvesting. We've heard stories about this for things like Sam's Town $1s, Paris $1s and the like. But when it comes to a $20 chip which you are effectively giving the casino WAY more than its replacement value for it, do they care if you are harvesting these? Like if you walk up to the cage, put down $2500 and say, 'I want 100x$25s' would they care?
Here's a recent thread if you want to read about or discuss this topic.

When I played at The Bellagio I saw a guy with a rack of the Bellagio versions truly beautiful chips. I had to ask and he was playing 20/40 Limit Holdem. He said if you play disciplined you can win decent money. After I was up $2k playing $200 buy-in NLHE I jokingly told my wife I was going to buy-in to the game. She reminded me we were still in town because our car had broke down with a blown gasket so I jokingly opted out. Even though these are Aria chips that's what I think of when I see chips from either casino, especially the $20.

Long story short, no never. Our job isn't to figure out what you want to do with the chips we just assume your going to the tables. When I was harvesting at Mirage, they asked if I wanted to buy a rack of brand new $3 drop chips. 1) I didn't want to invest $300 and 2 what the hell would I want with $3 chips. I'm going to throw a wild guess and say that's why they made $2.50 chips for BJ so people wouldn't keep their 50 cent ones.
