It would make a excellent 4/8 set that's for sure. Don't think I haven't considered it but I've bought a forever limit set not long ago. And I'm knee deep in other sets at the moment. GLWS triclubs are mighty nice and those look in beautiful shape.

If I ever hosted even 1 limit game in the past these would already be at my house. I have a sample of these. They feel great. Very nice clay.

I have some triclubs that are part of a mixed mold set with some HHRs. The triclubs are a bit heavier at 10.1g (the HHRs weigh 9.2g and have brass flakes), but otherwise are textured such that they mix perfectly with the HHRs as a set. Barrel heights are also exactly that of the HHRs. Blindfolded, you’d be hard pressed to tell these were two different chips/molds. From this, it would not surprise me if my triclubs were sold by Langworthy, but made by ASM.

these would be awesome for .25 chips as is, would have no problem using half this set as a .25-.50 no limit big set at all. 900 green .25 and 100 5s perfect 1000 chip set with a rack of each for spares... godsend budget clay perfection.
