I have posted the alcohol collection in many threads around here... not much in the way of Bourbon at all, unfortunately back when I was collecting alcohol we were in the flavored vodka boom. Mostly Vodka, Tequila, Rum... garbage to you guys! My prize possession is this! Most of you would probably say it's not worth $50 but I would not sell it anyways

An unopened 1972 Crown Royal! Maybe if I keep it another 50 years it will be worth $52!! Lol

I'm good with a $35 bottle man!

You guys can keep the good stuff!! Haha

My friends gave me this bottle from the 60's...he inherited a collection from his grandpa. It's drinking whisky but the bottle is worth $150-$200 now. So you never know @Ben8257 buddy...you might be sitting on a winner in a few years.

You ready to trade that massive Mardi Gras set for something on this thread yet?

When did this become a rare whiskey Pr0n thread? Lol @HaRDHouSeiNC that JW bottle is beautiful though.

And where are all my monster BCC Riverboats and Desert Palms set owners? @ovo @ssanel54 @Buge @Teggy @JMC9389
If you want one and wana pay a shipping premium I can go look if any are still available here but those sold over 5 years ago I think it was $100 over the normal BL bottle

@Denali @pokerplayingpisces @Split @ChaosRock

@Split has a pretty big set of the BCC webmold Riverboats, both cash and tourney denoms. Probably 2500 chips or more I'd guess? However, he also hung up the chipping cleats after acquiring them and hasn't logged in for a couple years now. I have his mailing address though if you want to send him a post card, let me know. :ROFLMAO:

The only other Riverboats cash set I know of is in @ChaosRock 's possession. Its very possible that these two have all of the Riverboat cash chips ever made. I don't mean to trudge up any chipping regrets, but didn't you own a set at one point? I remember reading through thread archives and seeing you auctioned a set off of the tournament chips, wasn't sure if I saw cash chips too though.

Either way, I'd join the queue to buy if any more of the cash chips ever come to light, but there's probably a few people ahead of me in line  :ROFLMAO:

Yes, they do. Unless they've sold them, which I don't believe has happened.

Yes, I did. I sold them to @Split after he acquired the rest of the cash denoms from Michael Patton. I didn't like the breakdown of the cash set. Not enough $5s and waayyyy too many fracs. Also, there were two versions of the $5 that used two different yellow base colors, one was a considerably darker yellow than the other. I didn't want to mix them together, it would have tilted me.

The Riverboat Cash set was HPC's Michael Patton's custom set. From his mouth, they were produced in a very small quantity (he told me the numbers over the phone but I just cannot remember) and never sold publicly since they were his private chips. A few years back, I acquired a portion of his set and a few years later, @RainmanTrail got the rest. I lost track of Travis chips after he sold them tbh. I still have my set.

The Tourney set is a different proposition, although as gorgeous as the Cash set. They were sold on HPC to the customers and were produced in a quantity a few times more than the Cash one. Still, not many of those around though, compared to other offerings like Proteges, Samurais and Mardi Gras.

Yes to that! That is the reason I only bought what I bought, because of the different yellows (which were produced at the same time, mind you). Otherwise, I would have bought Michael's whole lot at that time. Each look good but it would also tilt me having the two at the table at the same time.

I believe in addition to your cash set, there are something like ~800 more pink fracs, ~600 $1s, and ~550 $5s, about half of which are each flavor of yellow. Something like that. All owned by @Split now. Plus however many $25s and $100s he has (which aren't in short supply because of the tourney sets). I think there's probably about 10,000 or so total of the tourney chips maybe.

Yep! I think your numbers sound reasonable for sure.

Since those were his custom cash set, the quantities were skewed towards the lower denoms: fracs and $1s.

Same thing with another BCC custom set he had made for himself, the multi-color Speakeasy, not to be confused with the set with Grays, which were sold on his site. His Speakeasy was even smaller than the Riverboat. At some point he split the set in three, sold two of them and kept one. I ended up buying his and tracked down the other two, to recompose the whole set. So below are all the chips that were produced, minus a few sample sets that were sold early on (not by me, obviously).

Edit: Apologies for crowding up your TRADE thread @Godzilla28 . I just now realized it is a Classified thread.
