Hahaha, rule is you have to use snappers as $5, only in 2s. We wanted it for Pr0n. :)
Well in that case, I want to see a $25 pot get chopped. Not quite as fun, but makes for a good all in later if that person still has an odd number :D

Oh, and yes, if I was playing, I would totally be trying to do that all night, with no regard to how I am playing the games. So, yeah, you should probably invite me to the next game featuring these chips, lol.

Star light, star bright,
First star I see tonight;
I wish I may, I wish I might,
Have the wish I wish tonight.

... and my wish was not to lose my entire ass or crap my pants thoroughly tonight. I had such a fun time and learned some valuable lessons. And I got my wish. :nailbite:

Oh, and yes --- the Starlites were... um... rather nice to fondle. Thank you @Windwalker for your generosity opening up your home, sponsoring the game, and treating us to the best of everything. I honestly can't wait for our next gathering.

@Steppenwolf

Chipping Journey Lesson #966:

I’ve been paying a lot more attention to the kinds of spots and base colors I like, and what combinations make me happy, or excited to see / think about. While I have had a massive recent affinity to California colors, I’ve also been attracted to the timeless quality of some of the retro Nevada sets. As part of my learning process, I’ve been experimenting in Photoshop using a technique I learned from @JeepologyOffroad — using the Paulson color sample photos as a base to do some nifty editing work around, and trying to create a progression and set I’m happy with. Here are the initial results. Comments / critiques welcome.

(And no, I have no knowledge of any NAGB activities happening, nor do I have any dealings with the manufacturer, just documenting my adventures / learnings as a chipper.)

I actually like the lineup a lot, though I'd like to see the frac as a 2v.

Will the set be part of one of your upcoming giveaways?
I echo this. I like the lineup as a whole but also think the frac would be improved with different edge spots. 2v is a solid suggestion.

The only denomination I‘m not a huge fan of is the $25. The base colour reminds me of “sewage” for some reason. YMMV.

Best of the bunch for me are the $5, $100, $1k and $5k. Nicely done.

Maybe it’s just my eye, but this designer would bump the GOTHAM CITY type on a curve just a hair counterclockwise. It looks verrry slightly off-center. (But then this is just a mock-up.)

Would you go with Krish's Poker room along with Windwalker's Den? Maybe keep the branding consistent? Cash game 20 instead of 25?

that 500 would make a beautiful 20. It would throw the progression off, but fuck it. I love me a bear claw chip!

Maybe you have enough pull to get @Tommy to bring back the fantasy chip design tool

That's a killer 25, and I love the frac too
I agree. I like the color of the 25 in relation to the rest of the set. The 1 is killer, and I like the use of a quarter fracs over the halves, personally. The label design is perfect for you, it looks classy. What about faux shaped inlays or labels?

I like the fact that the frac isn't a 2v. The 218 is different than the norm and still fits progression wise.

I agree about the 25. Its a cool green, and it works with the set. There doesn't seem to be enough going on with the frac. The jump in edge spots from the frac to the one doesn't make sense too "me". I simply think that it needs more. Fuck it. If we all liked the same thing this would be a boring ass place.
