We’re back in the old neighborhood visiting mom and dad. I’ve been going to this place since elementary school. My kids too. It has heavily influenced my thinking on this major debate that seems to take place on a PCF

There’s only one thing on the menu here, and it ain’t no sandwich.

The guys wanted stew, but issued a list of things that cannot go in it...

Partner wanted me to cook ole faithful. Tortilla (well done since she is pregnant), morcilla (blood sausage), spicy and regular chorizo, garlic and olive oil tomatoes, mushrooms and white anchovies.

I can't do really hot physically and spicy food when it's hot out. I get the whole, makes you sweat, it evaporates, cools you down, but it's hot and humid here and I just end up gross. Makes me look forward to the winter so I can enjoy that kind of cuisine.

Dinner is lunch leftovers today. Spanish rice and beans, cuban style shredded pork and arepa (which i guess also qualifies as a type of corn bread, haha).

daughter loves sushi so we made our own a few weeks back. i was shocked at how much rice we ended up using.
