I'm not really good with that. 1.) it means there was a complaint, and the "report your neighbor" mentality to me is really scary. 2.) how did they get access? Can police enter your house without a warrant because of the BC Emergencies act? Scary times indeed.
Full disclosure, I understand this is a serious disease, My wife and I both were considered probable cases before they had testing available (she had symptoms (fever, loss of smell/taste), I only had a lingering cough). We both had close contact with someone who tested positive. However, I do take serious issue with snitching on neighbors and what's happening in my original home province of Manitoba. Had one of my closest high school friends start his bankruptcy filings yesterday and at this time last year he was a roaring success due to 20 years of hard work, currently you're not allowed to buy books in Winnipeg, and my mom isn't able to visit my grandma in the last years of her life. They understand the risks, yet they're locked away from each other.
And I'm not trying to start a fight. Seen enough of that. Just my 2c
