All of which only took a week or so? Steve is so fast at responding to messaged he often reads my mind it seems, and has made the next change I was thinking before I could hit send on the message!!!

I wouldn’t have thought that it was necessary to point out that is a poor forgery of one of my masterpieces.
It should be obvious to even the most untrained eye that the artist was far too sober to be able to produce a genuine work of art

The prototype sample to make sure colors look close has been ordered. It should be a few days for it to be produced they said. If it looks good and no changes are needed it will be about 1 month for the plaques to be made plus shipping time. I hopeful to have these in hand before the end of the year.

I just received pics of the prototype sample to make sure it looks how @p5woody designed it. I’m very pleased with it and have told them to proceed with the order.

That actually was the idea behind the color selection, but now that you repeat it, I noticed there may be an orientation that makes more sense (compare with inlay) --

After closer inspection of of the mock-up compared to the prototype I realized a lot of the lighter details were not visible. Seeing it on my phone at 2:30am while playing poker was not the best circumstances.

Steve adjusted the print file and a second prototype was made. The lighter colored snowflakes in the background are now visible.

Here is the final version being made now.

First off... no idea how I missed this thread! @BonScot I truly need to start saving some of your comments almost like the out of context thread... but as a tribute to the amazingly high level of humor you contribute to this community all of the time!!
