What are fantasy chips?
I'd also like to point out - I think it's usually made by an actual manufacturer of chips, not just a relabel/inlay replacement like most of us hobbyists can do.Non casino chips that are made to look as if they are/could have been an actual cardroom

Technically in this situation the casino never got a gaming license and the chips were already made, so technically they are all fantasy chips.
These are absolutely fantastic chips, many of the casinos back in the day did not use a $1 chip they used tokens from my understanding. So many TRK sets do not have a $1 chip available. These neutral off white chips will pair perfectly with many build your own TRK sets. @Pesto628 amazing offering to have a playable number of chips all in one listing!! Reasonably priced for fantastic condition chips! Pretty sure these weigh in over 10 grams each correct?
11.4g... Wow suprised they aren't metallic colored!! Those are leaded excellence folks. You will never find that weight in a new chip unless it is slugged!! Stack like freaking bricks!!Just weighed a barrel at 11.4g a chip. Just to clarify, when I said casino vs. fantasy, some of these chips were manufactured for the actual casino back in the 60s while some were manufactured as part of a group buy from TRK more recently.
Are they different weight? (Casino vs. fantasy?)
Can you advise how many are original casino and how many fantasy? And side by side can you tell the difference? Can you post a side by side pic for comparison?
Sorry...sometimes I'm very demanding in the morning.
TR King made counterfeit chips? IDGI
I had a long and fascinating afternoon visiting with Glenn O’, talking all about that side of the business. He even showed me some old-school gaffed gaming equipment.I prefer “tribute” but don’t ask what they did with the dice!
There is a reason TRKs stopped being so prevalent in Nevada. It had to do more with the other side of their business than the chips, but it implied less than robust chip security as well.TR King made counterfeit chips? IDGI
