Rainman's Keeper Sets (1 Viewer)

We met at a bar and started talking and yada, yada, yada, the wedding is on Saturday.

As soon as they arrived, I started asking around, trying to make these more playable, and was able to score some fracs, 1s, and a few random barrels from a few awesome chippers here (thanks again guys!), which brought my set up to this.

Finally, it was playable, but still not ideal as I would need to find a lot more $20s and ideally more $1s & $5s for my game. So I started digging around and found out where some might be hidden away in storage and asked a friend to try to secure them for me. I think it's safe to say, it worked out! Thanks again good sir!

I was. But I created some alerts for Lakeshore Inn and Nevada Lodge chips to email me if they ever popped up. Eventually they did, and I got super lucky. I have a few more chips to unload now, then I'll be going back into chipping retirement soon. I'm done buying chips now, for the most part - save for adding on to my Lakeshore set and my Nevada Lodge set.
 
The white Palais des Congres chips (with inlay replacements) would make pretty nice Cali hundos for this set. Flashy enough without being overbearing.

My "keeper" sets from the OP which I ended up not keeping are: the mixed Paulson "blue set", the winners clubs, the Pick Hobson/Overland set, the Horseshoe Cleveland snapper limit set, the Wynn tourney set, and my Cali Rounders MD-50 customs.

Today, the only sets I own/kept are my Nevada Lodge TRKs, my Lakeshore Inns, my Lucky Buddha E&C customs, my CSQ Rounders semi custom tourney set, my Burro's Horseshoe 43mm sunfly custom tourney set, and my Grove Bud Jones CICs.

I don't really see myself buying any other new sets in the future though. Lakeshores were the only set that could have brought me back from my hiatus, but now that I've got a nice playable set of them, I'll probably go back into chipping retirement soon. Unfortunately, I don't have any TRK solids left.

Aren't the words "affordable", "bright", and "TRKs" mutually exclusive though? :ROFL: :ROFLMAO:

Awesome! Wow and ya just realized Ok u have 2400 Cleveland snappers and I can’t even find a rack for sale anywhere. I have needed 80 for way too long...... Changing your name to Chipman. It’s official.

I just counted. I no longer have 6 of these "keeper sets" :)

Although I did replace some with a few grail sets since then :whistle: :whistling:

I also now realize I should at least own a sample of those TRKs which are equally stunning...the hole gets deeper :banghead:

Ya, I have about 4 racks worth of off-whites to comb through. Eventually going to send some to gear once I get a chance to sort them out.

I thought I linked the Lakeshores. Sorry about that. Photo added.
