Finally dawned on me that the wee guy is the same shape as Nevada. I thought he was a slice of pizza or a Dorito or something  :ROFLMAO:

Too cool. Did you have this made?
Did not. To my understanding, a friend of @JWC had found the clock many years ago and redid the dial in it to give it a newer look.
The clock hung in his friends business for 20 years or so until John purchased it from him.
I inquired myself about purchasing the clock for my NL/NC themed card room and John and I were able to make a deal on it.
I’m super stoked to have another great piece for my poker room.

What time’s it?

It’s Doritos time  :ROFLMAO:

Haven’t been receiving a lot of mail lately but this one I’m extra excited about. What I believe to be the exact chip lineup for the 2003 WSOP Main Event that Moneymaker won, which hooked me on Hold’em (yellow $500 bonus too!)...

And my first ever Bud Jones chips...

That is correct sir...sweet chips! The only other variant being the "non-white ring" 1K.

I believe the influx of new members is part of this (and I am part of this group as well). Imagine every new member has at a minimum, a small keeper set of desirable chips. For every set that gets assembled, it also gets taken off of the market. Even a few chips per new member would add up quickly.
If a member has a couple cash sets and a couple tournament sets, like I do, they remove a few thousand+ chips from the available "pool" of chips.

Here's a quick chart I put together showing the increased membership rate of PCF. Granted, they're not all still active or even necessarily chip buyers, but you can see the community growth and consider the impact on the "limited" supply of chips.

The other part, and I can only speak for myself, but since my home game went on hiatus, I've decided to try to finish up some projects. I have a few chips that I may sell, but not until my "replacement" sets are complete and usable. I'm basically not chipping real hard since I can't get new chips in play.
I wonder if you can also chart the increasing stupidity and impatience displayed by some of those noobs, as they hoover up everything and anything shiny at increasingly outrageous prices.

This sentiment has been present in one form or another for at least the entire 12 (?) years I've been chipping.
