I can't seem to find anything about these chips. There is an oceanside card club on chipguide but the image above doesn't match the chips on the website.
Thank you. I should have expanded my mind a little first.
Hopefully that’s where they went.Glad I missed that. I’d have snap bought and then wondered why the hell I did that.
But good grab for somebody who wants them
No more middle man. Now I'm just keeping all of the chips I find. Building up quite a collection.
Haha sorry if I overreacted. But no, I do not plan on selling more chips anytime soon. Best of luck to everyone on future searches.
2) this is a poker forum where the literal point is to use a slight advantage to take money from other people.
« literal » really? Because it doesn’t feel like that
and on point 1) sure whatever because it’s mostly small margins in the big scheme of things
Oh, yeah sorry. I would NEVER say something like that, as evidence from my routinely selling at the original price of my big scores, not being big $, and particularly trying to help folks who might not otherwise get stuff.Sounds familiar.
It is also worth noting that 1) collecting expensive poker chips is a pretty affluent hobby, so I'm not sure a bunch of rich people having to pay a little more for their niche hobby is as terrible a thing as you make it out to be, and 2) this is a poker forum where the literal point is to use a slight advantage to take money from other people.
A little birdie dropped this off.
Not on an island at all! I love being bid against and then seeing the same chips sold at an increase immediately after in my community.I might be on an island with this, but I appreciate the eBay hustle Kaimat goes through to bring chippies to the community. I'd consider $400 a fair value on PCF for this particular set. I missed it on eBay, but I'm kind of glad he didn't. At least it might come back to someone here that gives the set new life.
