I’m holding out ... I’m figuring the casino will start giving their cards away for close to nothing very soon! Thanks for the heads up! Gave me something to do today. The WAG right by my house was out but the New Albany one had 3 decks. Got a red/blue rider back. Some poor soul won’t be able to fill out the BOGO now unless they stock some more (sorry @Hornet ha ha ha)
I ran into a similar problem today, but I'm gambling that another local store will have two reds...Went to two other Walgreens today, they both had 2 decks each...all red. Where’s the blue love?
I actually found out on accident that the Rider back was a fairly recent option. In case you want some useless trivia:I did not notice an odor to the cards at all. I did stop by yet ANOTHER Walgreens tonight and found some blue and red decks. These had the “Rider” back....didn’t realize there were 2 versions of these cards. I like the stripe version too.View attachment 463802
Edit: just noticed the box on the striped back decks are dated 2018, the “Rider” backs are dated 2019.

Hello Peter,
Yes, please follow the link below for purchase of the Prestige playing card deck, which can be purchased one deck at a time. However this is the only back design offered in this line. At this time, our traditional Standard/RiderBack design is not printed on plastic cards. (Empahsis added.)
Thank You, The Bicycle Team

Only one deck at the first local Walgreens I stopped at. At the second local Walgreens, I had your experience--two decks left, 1 blue and 1 red, cards manufactured in Spain. Thanks for the heads up, @JustinInMN!Just stopped by my local Walgreens, they had 2 decks left...1 blue and 1 red.
The back has “Manufactured in Spain”
Depends on what you like in a card. The ACE cards are made by Cartamundi, and feel a bit thinner and have less texture on them. On the plus side, the ACE have a pip that is larger than standard index, but smaller than a typical jumbo.
There are reviews of both the Bicycle and ACE cards in the Cards Review thread.
Ace for the win! Perfect compromise between too small and too big.One caution for anyone thinking of ordering the Bicycle Prestige Maroon and Green jumbo index setup I linked above - They do not come with a box. They do state this on their site, but I failed to see it.
Comparison between the two different Bicycle Prestige cards - They feel very similar. The texture of the backs feel identical, the fronts are slightly more textured on the jumbo. Thickness is identical. The jumbo index cards are more yellow. I really like the classy looking backs. I like everything about them other than a pet peeve of mine with cards - the pip extends WAY too low on the card. The bottom of the suit a full 1 1/2" down from the top of the card. WHY? You have to bend half the card off the table to see it. So much for peeking. For most people it's probably not an issue at all, but it's just one of those things with me. I posted a picture below with it next to a Slowplay card which I thought was way too low on the card, and the Bicycle is worse.
Heads up for the Prestige shoppers...they are half-price again, but this may be the last. They are on clearance at my local Walgreens, not sure if it is all of them. Clearance is usually not a good sign, could be that they aren’t making them anymore or just that Walgreens won’t be carrying them anymore.
Grab them while you can!

I bet you'll find more people here that would actually choose these than copags. And given KEM's tendency to warp, many people would choose these over KEMs too.Got 3 in Salem and 3 in Redding for my new BJ table, that’s another thread.... coming soooon!!!! =). Tks again for the hookup. I’ve used these before. They are NO KEMS/Copaq (haven’t tried the others mentioned here but I want to) but yes these great for the rowdies/regs. They just look sexy too!!!

Yeah, it’s amazing how much you notice that extra quarter inch. The only knock I have on these is that they are poker sized and not bridge sized. That said, I made sure to grab four decks back when I started this thread .
I am definitely one of those people. I have bought probably 8 or so decks of Kems in the last ten years and every one of them developed a warp fairly soon after using them. I even bought some from a closed casino and they too warped soon afterwards. Maybe I am doing something wrong, I don't know. But I won't be buying Kems anytime soon.I bet you'll find more people here that would actually choose these than copags. It’s too bad because casino Kens are easily my favorite cards I’ve ever handled.I am definitely one of those people. Should I have said 10%?Someone is fishing for the out of context thread.
