After some time away from the forums (CT/here), it's obvious that the bug wont leave me alone.
When Pug sold his PCA's and I got back in contact with him... I realized that I missed the good times we had.

Some of our closest friends left the scene and a lot happen in between (personal & chip related).

Today I took the afternoon to fundle with my current sets and took some pics.
The thing I like most I to finish a set to the max (max 10/20 players).

This started it all...

160 x 25
160 x 100
100 x 500
80 x 1K
20 x 5K plaque
10 x 25k plaque

Below you can see the set-up & starting 5K stack (8/8/4/2) or 10K with plaque

I thought I was in love when I saw those dimes, then I saw the midnight club silver on blue hot stamp sexiness and I about lost my shit... Beautiful! PLEASE post pron asap, and if you ever sell---DIBS! ;)

He is still stamping them you mean... :)

When he is done, there could be something in the work to revive the HS-option (if I'm able to learn the trade from Fabian and do a loooooot of testing).
We'll see...

Well well well. It is truly a great pleasure to have you back here Thomas.

I also love those Midnight Jazz Clubs. Can't wait to see them ready.

Glad to see you hanging around again, T. Looking forward to hearing news on the HS front, too.

Midnight Jazz Club is one of the best hot-stamps of all time. That is all....

Another set will be added to my collection:

525 minty TRK TKGB chips

After I won a $5 chip in one of @PAZ his epic Give Away's (the TRK 5-year remembrance) i was hooked on TRK.

I already have a paulson home (tourney) & casino (tourney/cash) set + a hotstamped BCC cash set.
The mighty TRK's & a custom CPC set have been on my wanted list...

Since I heavily prefer mint chips, and don't like to mix inlays...the options on TRK's were very limited.
When a huge mint set of TKGB became available....I had to bite the bullet.
The fact that they were in France, available for pick up and I had a good vibe with the seller helped a lot.

So...

This is the (perfect) breakdown given circumstances:

175 x 25
200 x 100
100 x 500
50 x 1000

525 total...not in line with my full rack OCD but in this case I had to stick to a limited chipcount.
With this breakdown I can do 1 table 10K starting stacks (16/16/8/4) and color up the 25's and even the hundo's
Since I will have 5K plaques made asap (and db's) I can run a 2 table game

Looking for a nice set of cards to go with this set :) and old school wooden racks.

Also, did some new became available since my hiatus in plaque options ?
Ceramic (like PGI PCA) still the best cheaper option ?

Plaques for the chipping community have gotten a lot nicer since you've been gone. There are several really nice options for custom plaques these days (listed least to most expensive):

Sun-Fly ceramics by Old West Poker Supplies, several sizes in rounded-corner rectangle and oval shapes

MSK Gaming (acrylic), several sizes and shapes
http://mskgaming.com/

GameOn Chip Co (plastic), rectangular rounded-corner and cut-corner, several sizes
http://www.gameoncc.com/Chips/Plaques.aspx

Matsui Gaming Machine (acrylic), several sizes
http://matsuieurope.com/

Abiatti Casino Equipment (acrylic), round-corner rectangle, several sizes

Thanks for the info Dave & Pat

I like the MSK & Matsui GM plaques a lot !
Maybe I have to remake some PCA plaques too :)

MSK plaques are about $8/plaque (and no min. order), how much are these matsui per plaque (min order ?)

Thanks !

Matsui min. order is 100 pieces. Price is upwards ~$15/plaque.

Thanks Pat, $15/plaque I could do...but the 100 plaques min order will be difficult for the rounders artwork.
I would need 20/25 plaques max, not sure if there is GB potential for 75/80 plaques.

First things first, what is up with the artwork ?
It's being used by ASM (obvious), TRK & OWPS...

Who do I have to contact to get ok'ed to design custom artwork for plaques (using original bear or close match) and maybe a hotstamp ;) ?

I THINK Jim Blanchard at ASM now CPC is the artwork owner. Try to contact David Spragg at CPC. He will know for sure.

Midnight Jazz, wow, love them, can't wait to see more. Love those dimes in your PCA set too. Who designed the stamps on those chips ?

Joni designed the stamp (JJ83) and Fabian stamped the paulson blanks I scraped (that was one hell of a job)
Pasi and me have the exclusive rights on the stamp ;)

I'm meeting Fabian today, we have been talking about hotstamping for a while...more info later

MSK plaques are about $8/plaque (and no min. order), how much are these matsui per plaque (min order ?)

Depending on size and order amount they are closer to $5/plaque. There is a $30 setup fee for under 100 plaques compared to Matsui art fee of $300

new breakdown :)

180 x 25
200 x 100
100 x 500
70 x 1000

550 total

@stocky: if I calculate plaques, fee & shipping it will be close to 7-ish per plaque.

TRK Rounders

new breakdown :)

180 x 25
200 x 100
150 x 500
70 x 1000

600 total

And today I received one of those epic TRK dealer buttons from @PAZ
Thanks so much Paul & Julien !
