but the $500s are orange and the $1000s are purple...
colors definitely transposed from traditional...
The hot stamp set, yes we have 2 sets of those, are reversed it's a bit odd but I kind of like it

This may not be the most appropriate place to post this, but I realized that I participated in all 4 out of the 4 latest chiproom sales within just over 5 months, so I just wanted to show off this little mixed collection after receiving the latest package today. (One very minor discrepancy from the last shipment, will likely get fixed because Jim’s awesome, but I’m too excited and I have to share what I have now)

Isle cape girardeau roulettes and improvised sample set (I wasn’t fast enough for a full/real one)
The stars of the show, the sea green Isle and salmon LL are gonna be my new fracs whenever we get out of almost-house-arrest. They match so well I’m actually happy that I was too slow on the petunia roulettes from the LL sale and that Jim busted out the Isle sale immediately after.

They've been over this. State Law in Missouri requires .50, $1, $2, $2.50, $5, $25, $100, and $500 to be certain colors. That's why. Someone posted a page with the law, but any chips that come from the Show-Me state have fire orange for $500 chips.

The laws are as follows, although state law only requires the chips to be in six denominations: 50c, $1, $5, $25, $100, and $500.
IDK about you but a $2.50 chip being blue just seems unusual to me. That's the only one it would take me time to get used to.

Barrie has been here through three locked posts because I stated some disapproval with chip designs. Now what's funny is I actually stated I liked this design with the gold letters and few people would argue that, but invariably a handful of people like to start flame wars whenever I express an opinion on basically any chip. I doubt there will be a lock unless another flame war is started however.
People are posting pr0n which is eh not a huge deal. But typically selling something in other people's sale threads is a no no. I mean in this case I dont think it's a big issue

Maybe locked was a bit much, lol I may be buzzed from last night. There’s just been pr0n that was asked to be moved to a pr0n thread, other sales/sellers being mentioned. Nothing bad and nothing intentional, just getting away from the original point.

Posting things for sale in another person's for sale thread is bad etiquette. Posting things for sale in a vendor's for sale thread should be deleted by mods with a warning to the offender.

I'd agree if it was chips. It shouldn't be here, but it's just a button and cut cards, jim doesnt sell those. Either way yes posting sale items in another thread is against code

Does it promote Jim's business in any way, in the forum he pays for?
If the ad was "buy a set of Jim's chips and get your accessories," it would be different. But there is no attempt to promote Jim's business; this is an attempt to corral Jim's customers for additional sales that do not benefit Jim. Again, seeing as how Jim pays for this forum, I don't see how that's allowed.
I will personally never buy from someone who does this.

I see your point. At the very least it's bad form that he's trying to piggyback on Jim's sale. He could have said "Once you get your chips, how about these?" or something.
