Please don't consider me on this sale. I'd prefer the Fitzgeralds! GLWS
I gotta say this...

I LOVE the Avatar man! It makes me chuckle each and every time I read a post from you. Laughing is just great for the soul, and thanks for being a cool dude anyways, but with the funniest Avatar!

Ok, I kept going back and forth on how to try and settle this. So, first, here's some info for everyone.

I spoke with a local chipper, and got his advice on shipping chips to the US from Canada. He said to estimate that $23 would cover the cost of shipping. I can either do that and ship later this week, or you can wait until the border opens back up, and I can drive down to ship the chips out from WA state.

Now, if that scares you off, please say so!

Since I have so many people interested in these chips, I thought of something kind of fun to try and pick the winners. I would like @toothpic , @Anthony Ferguson , @SixSpeedFury , @gopherblue , @sheikh617 , @ShuffleNDeal and @Matthew627 to pm me with their favourite NLHE hand. Including suits. I will then run out a board, and see who has the BEST NLHE hand, and who has the BEST RAZZ hand. Those two will get option on purchasing a rack. If I don't hear back from anyone by the time I do this (most likely mid afternoon, Monday the 30th), I will randomly choose two cards for the people that don't reply. ONE CAVEAT, your hand CAN NOT be a pocket pair. I don't want everyone to send me pocket aces, ok? :)
I do realize that people could end up having a shared card (or even a shared hand) in the case of a tie, I will pull 4 random cards for each person in the tie, and run out an omaha high hand.

Quite honestly, I tried to just choose two people, but everyone on the list has a reason for wanting these chips, and I would love to see them go to each of you. So yeah, I suck. Anyways, good luck!

Mike

Ha, this was:
A) Way more exciting than I thought it would be.
B) Just as confusing as I thought it would be.
C) I forgot my own rules to the game, and started to set up a tie breaker hand, then realized that wasn’t needed.

Anyways, here we go!

I found it interesting to see how many people like having a Jack in their hand. (Kinda ooc?)

I swear this board looks set up. I also swear that I am not smart enough to set anything like this up.

The turn card made it even more interesting. Don’t blame me, blame Desjn. That’s who made the cards. Or blame the mardi gras cut card. Or the scrap suited speed cloth. (Ok fine, just blame me.)

And then the river card..........

I wish I was smart enough to know how to do the spoiler tag..........

Did I mention I’m doing this from my phone?............

Because I’m just computer literate enough to use a smart phone, but not computer literate enough to know how to use proper code..........

Also, I learned in France that the french I learned, all took place before smart phones, heck before cell phones even, so I had zero knowledge of words for “internet” or “gigabyte” or “online”..............

Those words would prove to be pretty important when trying to negotiate a cell phone plan in France. How I survived the first week, I’ll never know.............

Oh yeah, you probably want to see the river card.

At first I thought that was rather anti climactic, no flush, no straight. Like, wth man? Then I thought, oh hey! A tie for second, means I get to confuse myself more and do an omaha high hand! And then I remembered my rules to the game, and had to see what the razz hand would be. Lol. I no smrt.

So, congrats to @SixSpeedFury on the NLHE high hand of Aces and 3s with a jack kicker.
And congrats to @gopherblue on the razz hand of 8,4,3,2,1 just beating out the 8,5,4,3,1.

Mike

PS, I did not take out any of the cards that players chose. So, it could be entirely possible for someone to end up with five of a kind. I knew this going in, but come on, that only happens in movies, right?

Nooooooooo. Congrats to the winners! Great chips at a great price. Thanks for including me!

Awesome sweat—thanks @Racer96! But I’m going to make an unexpected left turn and ask you to run another board for the remaining players, as I’ve decided to give up my claim to the rack. I’ve got a rack of these already and while two would be nice, I’d rather let another member have a shot at them, since the more sets with fracs, the bettah.

Thanks man! Extremely nice of you. I just finished posting the Empress $5 and Empress $100 hands. Will work on something for this now.

Sorry Geremie, in interest of fairness to the others though, I am going to limit it to the people that were in the original drawing.

Stand by everyone for another hand....... this time I'm going to go old school.
7 card stud.
The 5 remaining players get their original hole cards back, and will get 5 more cards each. Should be interesting. High hand wins. In case of a tie, well, I'll see if that happens. Maybe roshambo for the win.

Mike

Here goes. This was fun.
Here is everyone’s hole cards.

First street.

I swear I did not set up any hands. In all the contests, I just let the cards decide. I wouldn’t believe it if I wasn’t the one drawing the cards.

Seriously, you thought I’d just show the results like that?

Here we go........

So, matthew is currently in the lead, with a pair of jacks.
The lowest hand right now is shuffleupndeal with K high.
D3CC4D7E-6CFE-45E2-B51D-EF6D0CBCF9A7.jpeg

He ends up with a pair of 10s, matthew is still in the lead.

Next up is sheik with A high.
B5FD35E1-F8EB-48A5-8867-791FAB073985.jpeg

Finishes with a pair of 7s, still matthew.

Anthony is next with a pair of 5s.
A4E91556-E9F3-4A9E-9F24-E482EB62C4E7.jpeg

And ends with a pair of 5s.

It comes down to toothpic’s last draw.
922A811B-4AD8-418D-8A98-2DC57D970982.jpeg

And there’s the 4. Two pair rockets into the lead.

Now matthew needs to outdraw. There are a ton of outs left.
With KJ JQA2 , he can pull:
A x 2 remaining for 2 pair
K x 3 remaining for 2 pair
Q x 3 remaining for 2 pair
J x 2 remaining for trips
10 x 1 remaining for a straight
2 x 3 remaining for 2 pair
14 cards. 24 known cards, that’s exactly a coin flip.

But the miracle doesn’t come.

Congrats @toothpic with the winning hand of two pair, 10s and 4s.

Mike

Thats a great home for PNY chips! If not to me, glad it went there. Congrats sir. Dibs if you ever let them go!

Sweetness! I was hoping to win these to give my friend that owns a PNY set a chance on securing fracs, seeing as they're hard to come by, but he has moved on to another alternative. So I will follow in @gopherblue's steps and pay it forward to another member that would like to complete their set.

Ok. And then there were 4. (Sorry Oggy, still not accepting late entries into this)

So this time, I decided to use your guys chosen hole cards again, and just run out a deck to see who pairs both their cards first. I know it’s not a poker game, but I figured this would be fastest for me to do.

First off , the hole cards:
C968C13E-8740-44C2-9330-E00E2117DF3F.jpeg

Yeah, different cards this time. First time I ever shuffled these cards. It’s actually a really nice feel again, using paper cards. I swear, if anyone ever invents plastic cards that feel exactly like a fresh deck of paper cards...........

Anyways draw cards until....
79CABAB3-E480-4397-B43B-A8A777D340CD.jpeg

And again.......
D81ED3EC-7563-4505-83A7-1C8E605CCB11.jpeg

And again........
E1975250-1D22-43AB-9634-7B5DCF4E45CB.jpeg

And then
AB79026E-C228-4B8E-9D7C-1D2C74B7BCB0.jpeg

Gonna admit right here, that someone had actually already won. But I held the card back , so that everyone could have a card. And then another person also filled up, and I had to hold it back as well.

So the winner is

And in case anyone wants to see what all the court cards look like
5704F905-7F8B-4992-A2D4-032BD79D2A9A.jpeg

Anyways, congrats @sheikh617 you’re up on the last rack now.

Whoa wait, there was still a rack available! Hell yeah I'll take it! Damn now there is no way I don't build a PNY set haha.

Sixspeed, the other original winner also stepped down today.
I think people just want to see me work.
Well, sorry folks I will not be stepping down! Stoked to get a rack. Now I gotta sell chips to buy PNYs :banghead::banghead::banghead:
