Should I make a separate thread for people who would like me to remake some cash $100s into T25k, or are we leaving people to buy there own and get labels from @Gear? I don't mind doing them but I don't want to buy an extra 100-200 chips just to hit the MOQ and then sit on them because everybody got their own.
I would purchase some from you :)

My Best Jeff

I would definitely be on board for 30 of the T25K... let me know you decide to do this. Will determine if I end up ordering a tournament set of about 800-900 chips. Not like I need another tournament set but this is too tempting to pass up.

Okay, having talked to @Tommy and come to an understanding of what's involved, I will make a separate thread in this subforum and post the link here. It will have guidelines about the projected costs and order details.

This is not necessarily a sure thing. The goal is to try and meet the MOQ to avoid a huge art fee for the group. However, I can't afford to just buy several racks of chips just to sit on them; we'll need some real commitment for numbers to do this.

Which racks do these Abbiati chips fit best in: Paulson, Key West or the Chinese-made ones that have even more room?

Too tight in Paulson racks. :)

Nice fit in the 67.7mm racks that @dennis63 sells.

Also good in Matsui racks too.

I survived The Chip Exchange sale. Had about $1k worth of WSOP tournament chips in my cart and didn't go through with the sale. Yay me.

Hoping to bump my cash set to around 800 total chips ... or more.

Gotta take these small victories on the way to the real big show.

Sure, if @allforcharity is offering to do those too. Just note it in your order post next to the denom.

I could do these, too, if there was interest. The real question is, will there be enough quantities ordered to make it worthwhile for @Gear to produce $25 cash labels? I suppose I could amend my other conversion thread to include this possibility.

WE HAVE TO BE CAREFUL. We are just short of the MOQ on the Cash $20s. If people start switching from Cash $20 to Cash $25 using the T500 conversion then we will potentially fall even further behind, and have to pay the many hundreds of dollars for art fees for the Cash $20. Do not make this decision lightly.

I'm ordering 82 20$ chips and want 80 25$ chips ( 80 500t converted to 80 $25 cash chips) . I want Both options! Not one or the other. If the conversion is possible then this is my order: removed by request

I have changed my order on the order thread as well. @allforcharity if you can work this out it would be great!!!! If not, can you let @Gear know I want labels for $25 Crown Plaza Cardroom cash chips enough for 80 chips. I don't want to be a bother. If this doesn't pan out I'll get a hold of Chris and do the conversion after I get the 500t chips.

Hey I think you should post this on the order thread.

I took a look and the purple $25 and a purple frac wouldn't work well. I think the $20 as is would look a lot better in combination with the other cash chips.

Good point but the shades and marking are different enough to me. I just love the Purple t500 and badly want it with the rest of the set, perfect Cali $25

I agree with ya on that! The T25 is very nice. If the frac were a different color I would have a hard time resisting as well.

On a side note, I'm often asked about how these chips handle compared to say Matsui chips. IMO, they are least slippery when compared to Matsui and Bud Jones. Matsui and Bud Jones have strengths in other categories.

Video masterpiece below.

@Tommy : What surface are you sliding these on? I received the traveling sample set today that @yone has been good enough to loan around and I'm a little surprised at how slick these are. Presuming there is only one compound they use to make their chips, right?

My desk.

All my samples appear to be made of the same material. I think they handle better then some of the other brands I have.

Most Slippery to Least Slippery (IMO of course)

Matsui -> B&G -> Bud Jones (excluding R4s) -> Gemaco & Bud Jones (unweighted S2s) -> Abbiati -> Bud Jones R4s
