Thanks. The ones are just plain gray and were scarce even back then if I remember right. Since I will never be able to get enough quantity to make them playable..I have another idea in the works.

This might be what you need...Paulson Mustard? The Casino de Mexico 1s are a brighter yellow but these spots are the nutz for this set. I know where to find some.

Here's a crazy idea I had, you could relabel the existing $0.50 chips as $1 chips (obviously a non-permanent label that wouldn't damage the original inlay). Of course this assumes you don't want to use the $0.50 chips. But if you didn't, you'd have 4 racks of $1 chips that would go perfectly with the rest of the set.

Personally if it were my set I'd just use the 50s as .50 fracs and choose my relabel 1. He has few good choices that are obtainable and on his list so far. It's too bad the Mexico 1 does not have the 2D14 spots but any bright yellow 2D14 would be my first choice.

Wow, you're right! I was on my phone when I made the past post and didn't zoom in enough.

This would actually make me want to relabel them a bit more as I detest the $50 bill, and I assume would be equally unhappy with a $50 chip

Lol..I agree about the $50 curse but I want to keep the chips their natural denominations. I'm going to mock up some yellow ones and see what they look like. Gears labels will easily peel of so not worried about defacing the Venetians. The spots are smaller and different..but the colors match the other denim colors well imo.
