I'm looking to build a custom set for a business. I have a logo that i may need some help with (SVG) to get it appropriately sized for poker chips and have some questions on custom sets.

I want to order from a place that will keep the design for me so i can order future replacement chips since i know that people will steal them (which is fine, they are promotional).

I've been looking around and trying to find who does the custom artwork for the inlays. I've already got a "general" logo that i want to use, but it may make sense to alter it to use the wording around the central picture instead of it being on the bottom. Basically the Sea Pearl logo in the middle with the www.seapearl633.com around the edges somehow.

If someone can direct me to a person who does this, so i can get myself ready for the next group buy, it would be appreciated. I also might get a set for my local hometown, so i could be in for a fairly large order on my own. (5000 chips or so total between 2 sets). I have no logos for those, would have to start from sratch.

Where upstate? (There seems to be some disagreement about its borders.)

Welcome
Anything south of the Twin Bridges is practically NYC to me... I'm in Saratoga Springs, as close to Canada as NYC. When i get south of Albany, it's usually because i'm driving to South Carolina... :)

Hello and welcome!

5000 chips between 2 sets? Promotional items? That's a lot of chips. Numerically, are you sure of what you want?
Yes, that would be 10 sets total, with 2 distinct and seperate designs, or realistically 9 sets and leftovers for samples, etc to give away. If i hadn't just redone the house, i'd probably just get 10k and store the rest for somewhere down the road, but i spend a boatload of money over the winter.

I have a set that I use for home tournements. It's about 2000 chips, although i rarely have used more than 1000. Even with 40 people, 20 chips each is enough... although people like to start off with a big stack... :) i can get up to 40 chips each if needed. From the "Vineyard Casino", have a few "real" chips from them too.

Belmont at Saratoga this year. Too bad NYRA has turned Saratoga into a big cash grab instead of a party thrown by wealthy people for us common folk. Are the locals annoyed with NYRA ?

I can't wait to move south. When i do, i'll turn my house into a rental and it will pay for itself x2. Yeah, it used to be a quaint little town that had 4 weeks of racing where the money came in and locals could benefit. Now locals can't even afford to live here. Most of the graduating class will move away and only come back to visit mom and dad until mom and dad sell and move south. If i get my act together i'll put some storage above my garage and rent my house Air BNB before i move south... for what people pay for the belmont weekend i could buy 10k chips and go camping, buy beer for every camper in the park, and have BBQ catered. Someone told me on the east side of town they rented their house for 1 week for $20k. 5 bed 4.5 bath walking distance to track, and it is really only being used 5 nights. My neighbors rent for 2 weeks evert summer and get $7k a week. But they have a pool and we have a hot tub so maybe i get $5k a week for mine.

These, other than the Gambler's pleasure, are my extra chips we used for random things during tournaments. The Viva Las Vegas chips were similar enough to Gamblers Pleasure that i bought them to use in that set, but the $500 and VLV never made it out of the boxes. I got the Vineyard set (actually over 10k chips), sorted them, sold off about 8000 of them, paid back my initial investment and made about $5600 still keeping the 2k chips i have for tournaments. That was 15 years ago or so. My wife was pissed what i paid for them, and then she saw the checks i was depositing into her account and was suddenly not opposed. This was right at the beginning of WSOP going big, and everyone wanted real top hat and cane chips...

I bought the lot because a bunch of people wanted sets, but the seller wouldn't separate, so i made a lowball offer on everything and he took it.... then he provided me with the names and phone numbers of a bunch of people bugging him to sell them a set and i put together what they wanted and shipped them out for a price that they were happy with. I ended up getting 10k chips for a little over $.27 a chip. Mostly what i have left is the NCV tourney chips... the other ones i put together nice sets and sold, which is why the money was good. Probably 6k tourney chips and 5.5k other "cash" chips that were in the original lot and i sold what i could in a matter of 2 months.

This is what I'm going for. A set of chips to have at my rental that people can use... Then a set of chips (1 each) that people can "steal" from the set... where i leave it for them when they rent. Serves as advertising, and also makes people spending an arm and a leg on a week at the beach feel like they got something most renters don't give away. Obviously i tossed this together in a quick minute, but the idea is there. Need someone who can work with my SVG and turn the logo into 4 to 6 logos for the denominations that would be good for a 500 chip set. I was thinking keeping the central part (Sea pearl logo with dolphin) and then putting the website around it.
