I think you need to change that background color
I generally recommend not to share spot/base colours between adjacent denoms.
yes. the 1-5 and 25-100 as designed are going to have brutal dirty stack issues. probably the 100 and 1000 too.

Was thinking could go either way cash or tourney maybe more so tournament with the plans of being a flexible set. And since I’m fairly new to this is there a reason for certain colors to not have certain demons? Is that more so a “golden rule” or a “we don’t do that around here” type of thing?
traditional vegas is consistent with a blue/white $1 red $5 green $25 and black $100
Traditional cali card rooms are a blue $1 yellow $5 and white $100

I don't think you're going to get dirty stacks from a couple 1/8" wide spots, but it is better visually if you use different colours split amongst adjacent denoms.
