I would consider getting a bunch on one condition....sharper edges. That was the one reason I didn't get on board with the CPS chips. And I'm glad I didn't (as it turns out for a number of reasons). With the cross-hatching remedied One can only hope the edges turn out more uniform. either slightly rounded or sharp. I use the term slightly rounded over beveled which is sadly more like the end result.

China clays with sharp edges would be the icing on the cake. I'd love to see it happen in the future.
Since you guys prefer less crosshatching and more square edges I will make sure the factory makes these changes.
I will tell the factory to make them with sharper edges and less cross hatching.
I'll almost certainly be in for a large set. Will we be able to provide custom label art for application in China
Interesting that so many seem to prefer sharp edges. Slighty rounded edges are much easier to handle and to shuffle. At least that's my experience with my Dunes China Clays, which were one of the first China Clays sets on the market.
yeah but there's a pretty huge difference between mint CPC/Paulson edges and the edges on the recent tower and spear chips. somewhere in the middle is the sweet spot and i think it's closer to mint edges than to the super-beveled edges of the most recent production run.
Will there be a 5 cent chip? There's a lot of sets I've avoided purchasing for cash games because they lack a 5 cent chip. Also if the white chip will be $1 and the blue chip $10, I’d make the blue chip some other value.
Edit: If the orange chip will be $0.25 and the brown $5K, I'd switch those values around. Orange just seems to be a more traditional color for $5K than brown. I actually think the pink would suite the $0.25 best but I understand that having the brown and orange be close in value can cause chip differentiation problems on the table.
He made it clear blanks would be available. Do some labels with Gear and you can have a semi-custom set of whatever denoms you want.
