I help run a poker league that sends the winner to the WSOP Main Event. We like to emulate the tournament with the same starting stack and blind structure. Over the years, the main event starting stack (now 50,000) has outgrown my personal chip set. I’m really in need of more of the 5000 chip seen below. Would also be interested in any other denominations to add to my set, especially a 25,000 denomination. Does anyone have these they’d like to sell?

Thank you,

Andrew

You could contact milkfish poker in the UK. They do what might be described as a knock off of a knock off, and therefore they're not exactly great, but they might be ok.

They're on eBay, at least. They might ship 6o 5hw states.

They are out of stock at MilkFishPoker.
An option might be to create a custom set.

You can reuse the labels I created for that: https://www.pokerchipforum.com/threads/home-tournament-of-poker-a-wsop-2007-tribute-inlay.28860/

The thing is that it might be tough to find a custom chip seller who would engringe WSOP copyright. So if you need to go to the custom route, this design might help you. I think Gear labels with CPS blanks would be very nice but those CPS blanks cannot be found that easily nowadays. Maybe on Milano or Majestic blanks ?

I've one I bought at MrChip at the time... But it can only accomodate 10 players (T20K).

Hi Andrew,
I’m from Europe so shipping would be insane. To answer your question, I could think about selling it but then the whole set.

Thanks for considering Kid. Yea the shipping will be high, and I really only need around 20 5000s, not an entire set. So I think I’ll continue my search for the 5000s only. Thanks though!

So those things actually are ceramic? Fakey mold and fakey inlays, all printed on ceramic?

Mine have no « fake » mold, no sticker (everything is printed on the ceramic chip) and edge are aligned.

Indeed. I checked on eBay to be sure because on his website I see lots if things out of stock.

All the glory shall go to you ! :-D

Crazy kids!

Although as I said earlier, those chips aren't nearly as good, and the colours may well not match.

Even though it looks like a shoe-in, I'd still recommend you get samples first.
