I've seen several chips in European sets, but they always denominate by 2,10,50. Why do they do that?

In Belgium, there is no casino offering cash game using a €1 as small blind.
Currently, the smallest stakes at closest casino from where I live is NL500 (2.5-2.5) and before it was 2-2 (NL400 I think).
So no €1 chip needed. :-)

It's interesting you know. As an Aussie I like the .50 / 2 / 10 / 50 denoms too. Must be a Metric system thing. I guess it's just a small shift up from .25 / 1 / 5 / 25 but not as simple as it sounds when it comes to breakdowns.
