So here I am.

I lurked on the forum for three years before the itch to spend became too much to resist.

I've taken the leap into building the Ultimate HS Cinci Cash Game set.

Before I waffle, I must start with an extremely special thanks to @hoosierdonny. Don went above and beyond to help me out. His guidance and his generosity is what has allowed this project to happen and has saved me vast amounts of money, time and hassle to help a UK chipper realise his dream of owning a set of Paulsons. @hoosierdonny provided two of the racks pictured below (50ps and mint $2s) as well as taking 5 deliveries on my behalf from PCF members to assemble the set in the picture. He then sent me the chips in one excellently packed package, across the pond to the UK.

I can't begin to express my gratitude for such a favour.

For any of you that don't know - shipping to the UK is expensive; we get hit with a 33% import tax on the value of the product plus the actual delivery cost.

Don went above and beyond to both guide me and help get me what I wanted as well as saving me a massive amount of money. He did this for me out of the kindness of his heart; he didn't have to make all the extra effort but he did, and in my opinion he is a fantastic example for what this community stands for.

I have now made 9 transactions on this forum with many respected members of the community, each being PP F&F and I've not had a single issue thus far.

Massive thanks to

@liftapint
@12thMan
@Poker4ever
@The Chip Exchange
@Gary Vroman
@MatB

And of course

@hoosierdonny

For making everything happen up until this point.

I have four more deliveries to come, I need to obtain an ultrasonic cleaner (another story to come) and I need to complete the process of removing (400x) and applying (800x) labels to get this set to become the Ultimate HS Cinci Low Stakes Cash Set, at least on this side of the pond (thanks to @Gear for the labels when they arrive)

I will be on holiday next week, but I expect all my delivery's to be here by the following week in which I will complete the process and make the final updates to this thread.

Without further hesitation, today's mail/chip pr0n courtesy of the members listed above!

Further thanks to members who have shipped me things that I've not yet received. Expressions of gratitude & pictures of the developments will be added as the packages start to arrive, I just don't want to give too much away and ruin the surprise of what's going to be in the updates before everything is done.

Massive thank you again to everyone on this forum. You are an amazing community even if you are a bunch of scrub donkeys!

I hope you enjoy following my project!

Those relabeled 50 cent fracs and snappers are so damn nice. I'm starting to get non-buyer's regret on not pulling the trigger on the 50 cent fracs when they were available. Nice get and an amazing set! Check my post history for my HS Cincy cash set!

I believe that when you put together a set rack , by rack, barrel by barrel, its a set you are going to hold onto for a long time and hopefully will see lots of play! I have built a set of Cleveland Horseshoes of just over 1000 that will cover a one table tournament with denominations of 5, 25, 100, and 500. The set also can be used as a cash set with blinds at .25 /.50 or higher. I have a rack of quarters, 300 dollar chips and 250 five dollar chips... plenty when you add in all the higher denomination chips in the set. I would never use the set for both a cash and tournament on the same night as I have other tournament and cash sets waiting to see the felt, but the Clevelands were my first set of Paulsons and I am very fond of them. I am now trying to replace all the 25 primary chips to secondary and all the 100 primary chips to secondary but its no rush and nobody in my game would even notice. Looking forward to see how your set looks after all the label's get changed out. Enjoy the journey. It blows my mind seeing guys sell of mint sets that never saw the felt.

Those 50c fracs were the entire reason I pulled the trigger. I saw the price of fracs and knew I had to get them. Don offered massive value on those racks!

I've had a look at your post history and really like your set too! I'm thinking about oiling mine after USonic cleaning them - yours look really good.

I did consider the copa casino 5s as nickel chips. They are an amazing solid... but.... I have 2 racks of something amazing on their way. Only @Gear knows what I have planned!

You are not wrong. This set, once complete, will see a massive amount of use. They will only see the felt during a trusted member session (I have China Clays for when non-standing members attend my games) but regardless I can see many games using these chips in my future.

I belive just like the game of poker itself, there is no rush, the game isnt going anywhere and neither are the chips. Its always best to hold out to find exactly what you want.

Many members on this website have so many sets that some of these amazing sets just don't see any use. But, lucky for us, casinos keep shutting down and group buys keep happening so we get to help fundraise for the new their chips with some amazing purchases of our own.

I wish you luck with your switch out to secondaries. I'm sure you will find what you are looking for!

Sometimes I like to help the humans. :tup:
Thanks for the kind words!!

Very nice project.

What is the final breakdown that you plan to put together ? What stakes will you play ?

I also chose the Cincies for my cash set :

Once cleaned and oiled, they look very nice !

I’ve just added a barrel of $100 recently.

I use it for NL25 (.25 - .25), NL50 (.25 - .5) and (rarely) NL100 ($1 - $1).

Hi

So having received my tri-moons I've noticed that my Binions 50c are the same colour,so my set will have 2 different options.

I have a group of friends who play regularly for the last 8 years and we play 10c / 20c unlimited straddles to the button, £30 initial buy in, so my set is based around that game. The game plays massive for 10c 20c as its mixed plo and NLHE. I've won £300+ plenty of times as have others.

Sometimes the stakes increase to 25c/50c or 50c/$1, and in that game I intend to keep the nickels out of play and put in the 50c chips.

See similarities between the chips below:
15686437295958703431006534518799.jpg

The full breakdown of my set will be:

200x 5c (Jack Cinci $2 relabelled)
200x 25c (Horseshoe Clev 2.50 relabelled)
100x 50c (Binions WSOP T500 relabelled)
260x $1 HS Cinci
140x $2 HS Cinci
160x $5 HS Cinci
40x $25 HS Cinci (secondary)

Total bank $2450 I believe

I think if It gets to 50c/$1 I would probably need a barrel of 100s or another rack of 25s.

As mentioned the 5c and 50c chips will be replaced depending on what stakes we play.

Your set looks beautiful, by the way. I love the relabelled solids and the HS button is a nice touch.

I plan to get an Ultrasonic cleaner as my 1s are a bit dirty and then to oil them too. Which method did you use to oil yours?

Edit:
My starting stacks will be
1 barrel of nickels
1 barrel of 25c
16x $1
4x $2

Total £30

Very nice !

I checked if I had an extra dealer for you but I don’t. I then remember that I gave it to a friend who bought a HS Clev tourney set.

Maybe check with @Coyote if he still has any remaining from the European group-buy he organized few months ago...

That's a shame, I do have jumbo Stars button which is quite nice anyway and I have the cut cards which is also a nice touch - worth getting in contact with @MatB to see if he has any left.

I might check with Coyote to see if he has one still. Thanks!

Unfortunately, I don't have any generic HS buttons, since I ddn't make any for myself. My Horseshoe buttons are custom Horseshoe Pesta 1895:)

Massive thanks to @Changster for a my final rack of 2.50 snappers. These are MINT. Never seen the felt. Amazing chips, amazing price.

I really would like to emphasise how well packed the chips came from @Changster, @Chbyfngr and @hoosierdonny. These guys really care about making sure that not a single chip was damaged in transit. The members on this forum are epic!!!

Waiting on labels from @Gear again. The first set came through but I didn't anticipate that I would buy another 100 snappers but I did... so I made another order.

Some pics below of my relabelling. Just wondering if anyone has some thoughts on Label overs vs "murder" and laminated labels.

CHIP PR0N Preview: 10c/20c PLO/NLHE Set (missing 1rack of 25c which are awaiting some labels) - the game has live straddles to the button and often gets £1k+ on the table from £30 initial buyins.

Note that the relabelled 50c binions chips aren't in this pic because they are the same base colour as the 5c chip. The 50c chip will be in play for 25c/50c and higher. This breakdosn would be used for 5c/10c fun games with close friends and the 10c/20c regular game we have with close friends only.
