There are lot of Grand Chips at Apache if anyone missing some denomination or looking for an add on or looking to get a new Grand Indiana set

It cheaper than some of the prices of recent auctions and classified sales

https://www.apachepokerchips.com/product-category/paulson-poker-chips/

It also may kind of confirm that there a lower chance of a second TCR Grand Sales too

Everything is 100% rumor. This is all 100% Speculation on my part. I have no confirmation on anything if it is true.

Updated it been confirm. No more 2nd TCR Grand Sales

I heard that in the original TCR sales, there is an abnormal over sales on certain denomination like the $5 due to the combination of Golden / Sliver / Toilet paper Tickets that TCR had already dig into his reserve 2 barrel of chips to fulfill some of the orders.

Thus, some of the buyer received an abnormal % of used & GO $5 chip as compared to some buyer received mostly Mint $5

Combination with noticing new Grand listing at Apache Website, Jim may have already sold off the remaining barrels in an off-site bundle sales. It will be less hassle and easier and potential more money (if the deal is done via Bank Transfer rather than PPGS) from a vendor stand point

I know absolutely nothing about anything. But I will say that Apache generally has chips from every Jim sale since I've been here, so I wouldn't take that as a specific indication of anything.

I noticed there's a trend that Apache only start selling ex-TCR chip after Jim Sales for that TCR sale is done and over

But nothing is confirm for sure, just 100% Speculation

I bought all of Jim's Indiana Grand chips. I have pretty good prices on them now. He said he was going to have a price increase if he did another sale. I have a good amount of primary chips but only around 600 secondary chips.

 Now I got a new theory since it been confirmed there will be no more second Grand TCR sales

Did Jim have another new Casino Sales coming up soon since he offset the Grand way too fast this round, it almost seem like he need the extra warehouse space for the next sale

It so much faster compared to how long he hold and clear Jack Cincin or HSI batch

Thanks for clarifying. Can you speak to the condition of the chips? Do the pics on the site represent the overall condition of most chips (if so they look pretty good, better than I expected).

Thanks
Grant

Thank you. Prices look fair to me. I just looked at that first set you have listed, did some math in my head about what would be a fair retail price, and came to a number within 10% of yours.

Hmm sounds like Jim has been listening to peoples suggestions. Keep it up, maybe even TCR sales will be out of reach of the ordinary collector.

Not sure if the IG was more of a demand than other sales. Maybe this one was in more demand. Either way increase in price would probably push me out TCR sales.

That would suck, out of my sets 4 of 5 tournament and 5 of 8 cash sets are sourced from TCR.

My go forward plan is/was to only buy new sets from TCR as it is the only source of reasonably priced chips left.

Guys. This “price increase” refers to the second IG sale that TCR was planning - all the extra primaries that have now been sold directly to Apache, would have been offered to us at an increased price.

TCR has given us no indication of prices for future sales of new casinos.

Yeah that's what I inferred at first, but it's a vague statement so I took it as any meaning possible. Also selling, what I would guess would be more rougher shape chips at higher price doesn't make sense. Maybe they are the same condition? I don't remember exactly, but second wave of chips would have been in "rougher" shape? I think I remember hearing mixed barrel from the long IG thread.

I going to say the condition of the $5 will not be the best and mixed with lot of GO chips judging by the last sales

Those unlucky batch who got their chips had post their pic in some of the grand thread

That will be my strategy as well haha, plus also opening my options to other chips as I into collecting poker chips and not just Clay poker chips
