So I'm going to Vegas in november. I think It's my 5th time in Vegas so I'm not a complete novice. I've been in old Vegas and on the Strip. What I'm hoping for is suggestions for things to do that is not the obvious choises. Do any of you know any good music bars/jazz clubs. Pool halls, beer bars or other cozy places to drink, good places to eat. Places to gamble off Strip. Any suggestions would be much apreciated!
Oh and any tips for chip harvest will also be very welcome :)

Thanks a lot!

The best value in Vegas is found a bit off the strip. Here are a few spots I like:

Ellis Island - affordable and delicious ribs/steak and beers The is a gamblers hangout for the locals.

Peppermill Restaurant and Fireside Lounge - cool old school Vegas vibes with massive portions and a massive menu. It is fairly priced

Lindo Michoacan - Authentic mexican fare 10/10. There are several locations in town

There is a pool table in Cosmopolitan right next to Starbucks and the sports book which you can use for free.

Wicked Spoon also inside Cosmopolitan has a really good buffet.

Take a look at what DJs are playing the clubs while you are there. Seeing Tiesto or Steve Aoki is fun and memorable.

+1 off strip, and +100 Ellis Island, we love it there.

Also one of our regular stops is Casa di Amore off strip for Italian food, live music and cheap wine.

What are the dates? Where are you staying? I'm in Vegas Nov.21-28 at Bellagio and Bally's.

Gambling?
Get the poker atlas app and the bravo app. That should cover you for all poker rooms.

Off Strip?
Orleans and South Point are fairly busy rooms.
South Point has a Fri night seafood buffet

Other?
The D for the Sigma Derby. The last one in operation anywhere. Check https://www.facebook.com/groups/17881271705
to make sure it is operating before going (it's old and breaks down a lot).

Pinball Hall of Fame

Make sure you check out the Mirage and the volcano before it gets ripped out for the new Hard Rock Casino.

I always recommend Firefly over on Paradise. Spanish-style tapas and small plates. Mojitos and sangria available by the pitcher, and the fun part with the food is order several plates to start and then keep ordering until you are content and not miserable.

The smoked-almond stuffed bacon wrapped dates are my weakness there.

Griff’s Billiards on Decatur is one of the finest in the country .
