Hi all,

Stumbled upon this site while starting the research/pursuit of a decent chip set. Still have the same old Walmart set i saved up for when starting high school 20+ yrs ago, so an upgrade certainly seems warranted. Finally got a small group together and we have been able to play regularly enough that it would be worth having something a little nicer.

Already 3hrs into the rabbit hole and have already learned a lot, so thank you to all who contribute to the site.

Thanks! I'm actually originally from Indiana, grew up out in the country about half an hour from west Lafayette so I know Indy well. I usually try to come back to visit family a couple times a year, lot of great things about indiana

Yeah, already stumbled onto the auction/for sale section, guessing I have to be a member for a while first though as it doesn't look like I can post/respond in there yet. Probably good though, don't want to rush into buying a set, but I've enjoyed looking at all the listings and starting to read through more of the comments on preferences/weight. Definitely plenty to learn!
