Colquhoun
Straight Flush
I like them both. This one the type at the top is definitely easier to read. The artwork is clearer on the first one, though.
Which do you like better?

Okay, thank you for your inputs on this matter. I have decided to take the best of both worlds and combine them into something more simpel and a bit more unserious. The thing with the original sausage is, that it is too detailed for at small label/inlay. I am worried it is gonna print too dark. With this new sausage it is way simpler and clean - and I have added chip base color to the plane.

I have also changed up the colors a bit, because I get bad results from my DirtyStackSimulator2000. The only thing I need to do now is to look at the $1 and $5 since they are potentially an issue. In the coke giraffes set it is not, but since I have buffed the edges up in size it is now an issue.I removed the frac, because I reckon we are never going to play with it - so I added the $20 instead. This way there will be no leakage from the tourney set to the cash set.

Forgot to mention that the font for the denoms is a vintage font used on instruments and dials in the US Airforce. I thought that was kinda cool and fitted the theme.

Yes you are right - too many similar tones of red. I have changed the colors up a little bit now to get rid of this issue aswell as the dirty stack issues with $1 and $5.I like the new logo. I agree that the $1 and $5 are problematic. They're basically the same three colors and will be in play together. Maybe switch out one of the tourney chips if you're set on those colors.
I actually think the red and yellow are a little too prevalent. They may have subtly different shades, but to my eyes it looks like basically the same red edge spot color on six of your eight chips, with five out of six also having an adjacent shade of yellow.

Ha that’s great! Have you tried their sausages? There is a place near my work office called the Flying Wienie. Made me think of that.

No - just the dogs and gyros.Ha that’s great! Have you tried their sausages?
i really love the look of these colours. really yummy 25c and 100 especialy (although i personally like a bit more than just a solid fraction)
The Flying Sausage has not yet landed (pun intended). I ended up ordering a different set with the final chip design but with a completely different label design.did you order them?

Chippers eh, they never learnThe Flying Sausage has not yet landed (pun intended). I ended up ordering a different set with the final chip design but with a completely different label design.
I want The Flying Sausage set some day, and since I am already working on it 2 weeks after receiving the other set, I assume The Flying Sausage will land on my doorstep in near future.
This looks very good. The amount of dog related sets is something I didn’t expect. But great work! What feels like going through a gazillion themes and endless nights in front of Illustrator I am finally 75% certain that this is my final theme.
I don't have much experience in the do's and don't's of making custom poker chips regarding label design and chip colors and edge spots. I like that all chips have the same edgespot - so no edge progression here, except for the single .25 frac. Almost all the colors for the cash set is inspired (straight up stolen) from the Cocaine Giraffe set, which I absolutely love the colors and vibe of.
THE LABEL:

The label is inspired from the "Dog of Wisdom" short - you can find it here: Dog of Wisdom
It is stupid enough for me to spend 100s on my first custom set. And since the games I will run will not be serious and we will mainly be drunk most of the time - it is perfect for low stakes cash and chilled tourneys. I do want to remove currency symbol from the tourney set - but I might not do it. Haven't really decided on this yet, since no chips higher than $25 will be part of the cash game. I dunno. Again haven't decided on this yet.
THE CHIPS:

Again these are heavily inspired from the Cocaine Giraffe. Same edge spots throughout the set. I am not quite sure I want the frac to be a solid. The $25 is also one I am having a hard time figuring out - if I even want it to be green or if I should go with something completely different - but I also want to keep it true to the Vegas coloring.

WHAT I AM ASKING FROM YOU:
I need feedback and criticism on this set - from the design / decisions I made with the label, the edge spots, the colors, dirty stack issues etc. I would also like to hear from you if you have some experience or regrets from designing and ordering your custom set.
