Nice run, both of you. But where are the pics of the hot pro? Least she could do for stealing your chips was provide some courage-esque perv shots. :p

Good luck Tuesday!

Here she is:

Another thing that I did notice, was that I still don't like the x12 pcs of T25 and T100 in the start stack.. Players were constantly making change around the table.. If it had been x16 pcs then there would obviously be more of those chips in rotation. Really no reason not to do it. Just a minor annoyance..

That is less an issue of not enough chips, than one of players who are not optimally managing their stacks. Pot winners with lots of T25 chips should be calling and making bets with those chips, to distribute them back onto the table. Other players with low counts of those chips should occasionally call with a larger denom chip and get change from the dealer. Players should never make change among themselves (to avoid potential arguments and possible collusion).

You propose a 25% increase in chips, not a trivial matter from both a cost perspective and a chip management perspective. 12x is plenty. If players aren't managing stacks, it would make no difference how many were on the table..... the pot winners would just have more of them, and the shorties would still run out.

I do hate the constant making of change in tournaments, but the WSOP really knew how to make everyone into change making gurus. Only 8 T25 chips per player at the start. An extra buck in T25s goes a long way, but I also understand that it gets expensive.

^^^ This for sure!!

Not to mention donkeys betting 300 with 12 T25s and asking for change next hand since they are out of T25s... Tilt inducing! If bets are properly put together using the appropriate chips, change would be a lot less of an issue...

Just survived a set over set situation whitout major damage in the nl round. First break and above average stack still. Norwegian pro Andreas Høivold at my table today.
